I was in the band in the '60's. I am pleased to hear they still use the same marching cadences they used when I was there. I was a sophomore when we first started using that odd 3 against 4 cadence first heard at 3:09

I was in the Going Band in the 60s. I still remember the marches to the stadium. Years later my family would wait for the band and.march to the stadium with them. One day I hope to do it with my grandchildren.

@@marks.7992 The march from their facility across campus to the stadium to the accompaniment of the percussion section only (until they get close, then they all jam).

Miss the Intergalactic Cadence they had in the late 90's when I was in the band. Get why it would be short lived, but oh man it was a killer marching beat.

The music is "March Grandioso". That;s all the tuba players ever get to hear. I played tuba in the band '66-'69, I just listened to another video of the band playing March Grandioso marching up the tunnel from the stadium and I swear there were parts in it I never heard before.
