I'm from the hills. We see Bura down below, before the expansive stretch of plains, and beyond the valley, the majestic Vuria hill, a sight to behold. Sometimes fog covers the entire Bura area, and what we see from above, is an endless blanket of cotton wool.

Wow wow ! I’m former Bura Girls product, 100 years ago! This has brought back good memories. I used to belong to Mukasa Dorm! Great to know the names still exist! Ooops the Ablution block is still standing( I was eating though when u got to it; talk of perfect timing ha!) The Church looks different. Thanx Gray

Nice memories but personally am so dissapointed with the modernisation back then bura was green this place looks dry am sure the river we used to go for water during fry season is no longer functioning🥺🥺 modernisation plus climate change All in all I am impressed with the modernisaziton of the blocks classes and dorms the cabro in the pavement wasn't necessary

And hey you forgot to mention the jobless coner right after the canteen😂 and biology lab kwa tule tubenches....my favorite spot back then na kale ka dorm ka maria goreti was later oved huko karibu na quarters za walimu behind old form one block
