Love it! The only way I survived after divorce with a 1 and 3 year old is because I stayed in the classroom. Good pay, amazing schedule, and such a blessing for a mom, especially a single mom! So excited for you!

Heyy Sis! Trophy, we are friends in my mind lol! We are around the same age. I have only one son but I so feel you. In those moments when you slow down and just play with the kids or just put your phone away and give time and attention, the outcome really is so much better. It’s like life is saying, “all that can wait…” And you feel better, too. I’m so proud of you!! 💛💛

I am so glad to hear you're considering going back to teaching. I wanted to suggest it when you first mentioned getting a job outside the home, but l felt this should be a decision coming from you. I seen you teaching,and working, with your boys. You're patient and good at it. It will be a good schedule for you and your boys with summer and holidays, plus building retirement benefits. @@trophiedouglas I’m currently doing intervention, pulling small groups throughout the school day. I really love it because I believe education should be smaller, more targeted groups anyway. BUT the pay is not great. I was in admin for the last 5 years but that schedule unfortunately didn’t work well with my little one’s schedule. So, I’m trying to figure out if being back in the classroom would be the best fit. You good though because I definitely don’t want K or 1 😂. Give me 2nd-4th.

I took 3 years off. Went back last January and fell in high like (trying to stop saying love) all over again! Give it a shot! Can’t beat the security, pay could always be more but ultimately if you don’t want it-you’ll have a better transition plan this time! And in terms of careers being a good fit fora sm-teaching is a great for it’s flexibility, time off and convenience. Looking good! And I like the flowing hair! Everybody wearing bussdowns-so be different 😂

I love silk presses! I used to get perms when I was little but ended up changing to pressing around age 13. Haven't looked back since and im 37 now. Although I love to do my crochet and braids regularly too cause I hate dealing with my own hair. 😂😂

Heyy Hun, The skin irritation could be coming that your laundry detergent. The dyes and fragrance is too much for my kids and they begin to get bumps on the cuffs of their arm and behind their legs. I changed to the All clear Tide or Arm and Sensitive clear. I hope that HELPS!! AND YOU ROCKING THOSE CURLS❤
