A lot of difference 44 years makes. Was there with Pompey on the 28th of October 1980 when Portsmouth took around 16.000 there on a Tuesday night. Amazing atmosphere that night which those who were there will never forget. PUP.

The pitch is being done the same time as last year pal. Extra week to go this season. It will be laid by Friday this week then 5 weeks till a friendly is played on it, and 7 weeks till a PL game is played on it.
