A competition to find a fan of The ITM Fishing Show to come along on a trip resulted in Bevan, a landscaper from Te Awamutu, joining the crew on a mission to one of New Zealand's greatest fishing grounds, the legendary Ranfurly Banks. Under Matt's tutelage, Bev hopes to knock off a few firsts and set some new PB's along the way. There's wall to wall action, plenty of tips and loads of fun.

I had a king fish empolise on me about 2 weeks ago hadn't realised that they could do that. About 90 meters slow jiging for snapper when it happened.

I noticed that the guides on one or two of the fishing rods started out on top of the and sort of rotated around to the bottom. Or from conventional to spinning. Is that by design? Just curious. great video btw!

guys i Bought some NZ fish from Morison's UK similar shape to Bass black skin No scales n its about the tastiest fish i ever had am sure the clean NZ waters have something to do with it but not sure the name of the fish was more expensive than Bass thanks in advance

Don't be so short sighted. Netflix would massively increase their production value and make for awesome fishing TV. $13 per month? What a cheap skate. Everyone has Netflix get with the twenty first century mate
