Let’s talk about how Brian (Megan Fox’s ex) on yalls season of special forces antagonized Angela with weird unprovoked hostile commentary and then gaslighted her when she stood up for herself which led to him saying “he was just joking,” which then led to Jojo asking BRIAN if he was okay. Lol. Very white of them. It was giving “angry Black woman” portrayal. Nobody checked on her. That’s my only takeaway from the season thus far apart from it just being entertaining. I felt for her when she started crying because I felt it was due to her restraining herself in frustration.

This was a great interview and Angela sounds like she has come a long way and is a way different person than the media portrayed. However, as someone who actually has a PhD, I do have a bone to pick. An honorary degree is not recognized in the academic community and there are a lot of ethical issues pertaining to someone using the term “Dr.” for an honorary degree. You cannot legally claim a doctorate degree on a resume if it is an honorary degree given as a gift from a university. For example, everyone who is invited to guest speak at a university for graduation earns an “honorary doctorate.” This does not mean they have a doctorate degree or can use the title “Dr.” It is just a fancy term for honoring someone that often gets confused with an actual doctorate degree. Also, the school who gave it to her is not an accredited university… Needless to say, congrats to Angela on all of her success :)
