Not many people realise one of the if not the greatest film score composer of all time , and daily telegraphs top 100 geniuses of all time Hans Zimmer wrote this.

On the contrary most people know that and it's been discussed in pubs and been a quiz question for years. People fucking knew it after Gladiator came out in 2000 or whatever and "that's the going for gold man" Whenever anyone says "Not many people realise" it's a thick bastard who's just learned it years after everyone else, but feels the need to know something Sit in the corner. If people want an education they'll ask for it.

One of my mates (hope he’s reading this😂) was unemployed during “the second summer of love 1991” he had watched every episode of going for Gold that year, then all of a sudden he was offered a job at a place called true cut leathers in Leicester where his mum and brother already worked, not the best offer but he needed some money so he took it, he was genuinely gutted that the start date was on the same day as the final and he missed it 😂😂😂😂

It was composed by a young Hans Zimmer who went on to compose for Hollywood (Dark Knight, Pirates of the Caribbean etc). This is still his greatest work.

I remember this reminds me of my school days when I had a day off (very rare) or bk in the afternoon n this would b on. To think Hans Zimmer wrote n produced this. That’s Hans Zimmer who wrote the music to Gladiator, Dark Knight n The Lion King. I guess u gotta start somewhere.

It was on Challenge about 10 years ago. Ratings weren’t high enough to justify the cost of them buying more episodes or renewing the licensing.

You'll find this is the case for most, if not all British theme tunes. Even kids ones like Raggy Dolls and Family Ness had full on extended versions.

The only themes we get now for game shows, is dark edgy tension music, which for me takes away the excitement of what it means to win prizes, just makes me feel annoyed, Back in the day winning money was fun, NOT scary.

Another third were from the Netherlands so there must have been bias to them as well then. Perhaps to fit your definition of bias we should give everyone in the olympics a gold medal so we don't show bias to the ones who win.
