Backroads are ALWAYS better than the highway lol. Glad you're keeping the name. It would not be the same without you saying, "and yes... I am John"!

Hello again John and Aurora! I think it's a great idea! Haven't heard of anyone doing that either! That creek is beautiful! Alaska is beautiful!

Looks refreshing. Remnants of Beryl just passed us (northern Indiana) and The St Joe River is running high and fast. 3.5 inches of rain last night.

Hi John, I like the idea of having a conversational reply to our comments. Eva Zu Beck does that with her channel, she does it occasionally. Oh, by the way be cautious of transplanting those large tall white topped flowers, they are poisonous and will give your skin a severe reaction worse than poison ivy. They are called cow parsnip, and I am sure I saw them before the creek. I would identify the flowers before digging. Go to the forest ranger, or agriculture dept. office to get identification of plants. Most phones have an app. To ID. one is plant ID. Just take a pic and it tells you what it is. Take care

I think a video of you replying to comments would be (interesting and) worth a test run! Man, that chopping wood and carrying water is keeping you young! 😉👍😎🇨🇦

Hi John, I finally got my phone service changed so I can watch videos again now that I am Alaska. I pulled water from Willow Creek as well today so I could water my flowers. Thinking about getting a good filtration system so I can drink the water as well. Hope you have a great day.

Beautiful area, water is life and thankful for it, but also can't help thinking of fishing when I see it flowing.

Oh WOW!! the River is flowing rapidly!! It LOOKS so refreshing!! Do you use the water you are collecting for Drinking or Bathing?? IF there was a dead Bear in the water up stream; would that make the water UNFIT to drink?? How do you know if the water is not polluted with a dead animal or animal excrement?? DO you have a way to TEST the Water you are collecting??

Loved the trip to collect water…do you not catch rain water in tanks , I used to live on the land and that’s what we did…hello from Oz😊

Dating sites are terrible. I'd rather be alone then date the ones I've seen or talked to. I'm sure John you will find a girlfriend as u seem to be one of the good ones . I know if I lived up there I'd be flirting 😂❤

Whatever you do with the channel, it'll work out for you. Just don't walk around in a thong. As for the water, I know that water is pretty clean but hope you don't get beaver fever or anything else.
