Like you, my children grew up in HK too, that's home for them. My husband & I got assigned to HK in 1986 & stayed through 2005, just when HK was recovering from the SARS epidemic. My children went to HKIS until they left for the US for college. Nice to be in HK at its glory days. I wonder if our Permanent Residency cards will still work, the rule is you have to step in every 3 years. Be safe!

Wow didn't know you guys were here when that huge fire happened. Now I know why you can speak tagalog and you have a British accent. Makes all sense now. Unfortunately HK is no longer the same as when you lived here before.

He passed away unexpectedly when I was 16 so that's why we left HK and now that's why this visit was very meaningful.
