I feel like this is such an underrated game. I love watching your let's play series.

I got so excited when I heard you say you were making a macho Pikachu. Every episode this series, I’m going to have to catch ‘em all.

I saw this map in episode 2, and new I had to play along and go back to start at episode 1. Looks really good, and a fun theme.

We are touching on some Ancient Aliens Theory territory here. Fun stuff. Quite interesting theory even if you don't think it's possible.

Interesting premise. This is somewhat like what I suggested about a bunch of scholars being dumped in the wilderness with max skills in their particular area of expertise but little to no skills in anything else. Works with gods on earth too I guess. Going to have to be more careful about fights since it would be too easy to lose someone with a critically important skill. In such a scenario I'd start them out with basics like agriculture, beam, terraforming, and tailoring. As you pointed out in one of your previous plays, terraforming is just dumping dirt from one area to another. They're gods after all so they shouldn't have to research the basics. That technology head start would enable you to build a roof supported by beams above your supplies sitting on a wooden floor to prevent them from deteriorating. Once the roof is in place you can fill in the walls. Gameplay goes much faster and protects your supplies. I put bed rolls on the sides to accommodate the settlers until I research better beds. I setup multiple research tables to take advantage of settlers having nothing else to do unless hauling is an urgent task. Even settlers with zero research skills can get some research done so I just give them a 5 priority. Don't put your fermenting items on the bottom pit layer. Colder temperatures will prevent fermenting unless your pit is warmer than necessary, which will lose you a lot of your stored crops if you store things there. I usually find building a branch tunnel off in another direction and then building out a storage space is better for maintaining the coldest temperatures. One level up from the bottom of your original pit is usually warm enough for fermenting except during winter. Then you'll need a brazier or torches to maintain warm enough temperatures for fermenting. Just keep a good space around braziers since it will generally be too warm right next to them for fermenting. If you want to avoid having rat leather and rat meat, set your butchering table to not cut rats up. I just have their carcasses hauled directly to my dump pile. Build up your defenses is a game reminder they added in the last update or two. I guess it shows up just as the possibility of a random enemy attack becomes possible since you aren't attacked in the very early days except for the optional fights over arriving settlers.
