I have two big exes... 2 years each. I didnt delete anything. Honestly I just left them there and act like they werent there. Im glad I did. One of them was really bad, and 3 years later I can finally look and not feel the pain. The other was way better and they actually are good memories. There’s been two instances where I genuinely requested to see my partner’s phone (and there was definitely emotional attachments that we addressed in therapy a LONG time ago), but both of our phones are available to each other. Same as passwords. If one of us asks to see someone else’s texts or anything, that’s automatically a yes, but aside from those two times, we’ve never requested to see each other’s phones because our relationship is based on trust and communication. I can’t wait to marry him one day.
