hey you guys so I'm seeing a lot of comments about people saying the makeup artist didn't do a good job on my makeup. ( for that reason i won't be tagging the makeup artist, i don't want her to see any negativity about her work ) Sadly i do see what everyone is pointing out, the makeup wasn't flattering for my face. The issue while making this video was i don't want to shame anyones hard work (hence why i wanted to do "best" rated makeup artist not worst, in hopes i wouldn't have to openly critique someones hard work) The makeup artist was super super sweet, and i honestly was UPSET that it didn't turn out the way i had hoped. Being honest i didn't think the makeup worked on my face but i don't think it was the artists fault completely. I think a lot of it was just my different shaped head & cheeks and all that, i don't necessarily have a "model" face and i did chose a VERY high fashion look.. which may have made it difficult. I do feel like i am making excuses for the artist but long story short i would like this video to be a form of entertainment not a form of judgment on the makeup that was done, let's just try and see the positive in it all, it was a fun expierence & it is kinda funny how different from the model i look with the same makeup lol ! :) so ya enjoy the video the best you can ! love y'all more than ever !!

I feel like an important part of being a working makeup artist is being able to work magic with all face shapes and skin tones.

I honestly don't like Mia's makeup.... it looks like it was done by a COMPLETELY different artist

These makeups were quite bad. Mia keeps saying "it was difficult for her, my face shape is different from the model's, my skin tone is too light, etc" but a makeup artist is supposed to choose looks and products that suit your face Plus, Blair and Mia's reactions to their makeups shows how given the artist was allegedly rated as the best makeup artist in London, they expected a lot from her and pretended the makeup was good while it wasn't, I'm pretty sure they would have more easily criticized it in a "trying the worse rated makeup artist" : our minds are so influenced by our biases

ik that that make up is kind of bold for mia compared to normal, but that makeup artist did her dirty. that is not good make up at all. it looked like a poor job. edit: I just now saw mia's comment on how she doesnt want people being negative in their commenting. and if i would have seen that before hand, I would have never commented this. but I guess were already here so might as well stay .

i feel like the makeup artist maybe didn’t take mia’s skin tone and texture into consideration because it doesn’t really look like she spent much time on it because the contour is so dark and cool. mia is always gorgeous no matter the makeup but i just think the makeup artist could’ve done better and taken more time on mias makeup

Good makeup artists can work with the unique features of a person's face, skin tone and skin texture. That make up artist was not great and could improve.
