Hello Everyone! This song was a really tough song to learn. Mario Duplantierso is one hell of a drummer! Also please forgive me for not uploading recently. However, I had a lot of fun in the end and hope you guys like it! Also again, huge thank you all for the love and support! Stay tuned for more!

I swear to Jesus Christ himself, may he come down in front of me right now and say any different, but I swear I've never seen such an amazing drum performance in my entire life. Holy fuck man, you didn't miss a beat. I gotta try to get this out there because 18,344 views ain't enough. I'm seriously blown away by that video. I'm a metal fan since I was 12 and I'm 41 now and I've seen so many drum covers of this song and until now, this is the best ever. Shiiiiittt man. What can I say? Totally knocked me out, like a jab from a rabid Mike Tyson. Unreal. Just totally unreal. I'll see how far I can share it my man to try to help you out. I have no more words. Absolutely speechless.

The pattern goes like this: ABCD ABCD ABCD AB AB AB ABCD ABCD ABCD AB AB and repeat When the drums kick in, that pattern is played by the kick drum, with the snare drum hitting the "D" in the groups of 4, and being played in between the groups of 2. So it would go like this: K= Kick drum snr= Snare drum (K-K-K-snr K-K-K-snr K-K-K-snr) (K-K snr K-K snr K-K snr) (K-K-K-snr K-K-K-snr K-K-K-snr) (K-K snr K-K snr) The ride cymbal is the anchor here, playing quarter notes Hope this is clear enough and you find it helpful OwO

It isn't overly complex though. Imo that's what makes Gojira so bloody great. They find that perfect balance between complex and accessible. Amazing band.

It's a 21/16 polyrhythm in one hand, a 4/4 on the cymbal and don't skip leg day. Even Mario can't have a 100% record on this madness.

Keep going dude, l really enjoy all these and am very understanding of how difficult these songs truley are. Ive seen alot of great covers for Gojira but this by far is insane. Mario indeed would be proud. Probs to how tight you played this song, especially to the beginning, which is very complex as you're playing 3 different complex beats at once. yea lots of ppl cover this song, but, being a drum teacher myself, the accuracy and technique REALLY got me here. You made all the same choices concerning technique that I would and it seems to have yielded a very smooth and comparatively energy efficient take.

Absolutely amazing performance. @Anthony Murphy said it best. I am only 24 and still exploring new music still, but I have always been a massive fan of metal. I have heard some crazy songs in my time, and this song has such a difficult timing. To watch you play this song as cleanly as you did and not miss a single beat was so exhilarating. Your posture while playing looked so calm and collected as I can only imagine you have to be to try and count the rhythm. The fact that you were more focused on your right hand keeping the steady 4/4 on the cymbal instead of your left hand doing the more complicated rhythm 1:19 in just blows me away.
