I think what he kind of meant is that there would need to be a new tier between Grade 1 and Special Grade. Because up to this point, most sorcerers have been topping at that grade 1 tier of power, and anomalies like Yuta could go into special grade. But we know now that in the Heian era, while guys like Yuta were still one in a million, there were lots of sorcerers that kinda qualified in between grade 1 and special grade, like Ishigori, Uro, and maybe Kashimo as well, depending on how strong you feel he is. Now we've got Hakari and Maki who are also on that tier of power, and I think Gojo thinks Todo could reach it as well.

Idk, I mean Gojo and Sukuna are simply above Special Grade in the first place. There were four special Grade ones + Kenjaku and without the special Prison thingy and an exploit Kenjaku knew of - he would've destroyed them. Absolutely. Also consider the Guy from the Zenin Clan which became a Special Curse himself, after Maki bodied him the first time and then bodied him again. And Maki. He's actually pretty damn right in either way; you've with Todo already one guy who stood up against one of the most dangerous special grade curses we know of; Mahito. Sure, together with Yuji but nevertheless. We've Maki which recently destroyed a Special Grade Curse and could somewhat keep up with a reduced Sukuna while still being a Teen. We've Hakari who obviously could defeat a guy who is atleast first Grade if not special Grade himself and was considered by Kenjaku as interessting (why else should he made the pack with him?), we've also Yuji and Megumi which are only 15~16 by the way if I'm not mistaken and are also already extremly strong. Megumi's body can e.g. bear Sukuna's Soul which is already a feat on its own. Then as mentioned Yuta. And keep in mind, all those Students are still in their Teens. They are physically before their peak. And as shown, Toji e.g. was such an exception that only Gojo after his awakening could handle him. I mean, we can agree at least that all those Students already are at least Grade 1 and some of them already bordering Special Grade and would be only limited by "Well, they're probably not able to destroy a whole country on their own.". Sure, especially the events - caused by Kenjaku - will boost them extremly simply because they would die otherwise; yet his prediction was so or so right. Those which will survive wont be exactly on the level of Sukuna/Gojo maybe, which are both able to one hit most special grades anyway, but they will be above most Special Grades we've seen in pure "One on one power".

Very plausible way to interpret that statement tbh. I just wanted to push my agenda of Gojo not getting surpassed any time soon, so I took it literally lol

Oh yeah, I'm definitely not shutting down the idea of them late into their adulthood becoming much more OP than they are now but I doubt we'd see that in the story without a huge timeskip. At the same time, Gojo was stated to be the exception by all means. Someone with insane potential like Geto who was at the same level as Gojo as a 16 year old ended up stagnating incredibly hard (even though Kenjaku showed that Geto had not reached the limit/peak of his power's potential yet). So imo its not impossible for the same to potentially happen to Yuta, Hakari and Todo. I guess only time will tell

Its because Gojo got 'awakened' and got enlightened and understood the core of cursed energy and is able to use Six eyes and limitless to their fullest extent Its not because of age but its because of the awakening Gojo got when fighting against Toji Unless and until Yuta and Hakari achieve enlightenment and understand the core of cursed energy, they will never reach Gojo's level let alone surpass him

That’s an interesting theory, I’ve never thought of it that way. It was stated that all sorcerers (even those without cursed techniques) can make use of shikigami. So him splitting his power and using the shikigami and a conduit for Rika isn’t a crazy idea. Only time will tell though

Wasn't Todo introduced having solo'd a group of First Grade Curses with one Special Grade amongst them? He might not be effortlessly clowning them like Gojo vs. Jogo or even handling them like Nanami & Yuji vs. Mahito (up until he used his first Domain Expansion) but it's still crazy impressive for a student.

Oh! I interpreted it very differently. The way how I read the pseudo rolls in the TCB scans was that it looks like the number has stopped but it actually hasn't. Giving the illusion that Hakari's opponent has a chance but its not real, they're basically fighting an illusion, hence the glass pachinko screen breaking twice to reveal the real Hakari who is just continuing to spin. It was also said that it has a high probability of being a dud, which is why he only uses that move in probability shift mode. Which then means that to use that psuedo roll move he'd needed to already have expanded his domain once to get jackpot on an odd number for prob shift to activate the next round. And yeah you're probably right in that he still can improve a lot, especially when it comes to him outside of jackpot like learning RCT, CTR, becoming smarter instead of just brute forcing etc etc etc. I was only really looking at it from a jackpot = his peak perspective which made me tunnelvision a bit hahaha

Me thinking that the six eyes being a curse doesn’t really add anything of value but it was more so just an additional thought. Basically in jjk they’ve alluded to that you can also curse people to have certain restrictions or fates. I just thought that the six eyes might be one of those things as Gege Akutami specifically goes out of their way to never call the six eyes a cursed technique. My thought process was that someone might have cursed Sugawara no Michizane that their descendants could have powerful eyes but at the cost of only one person alive being able to wield them. 2. The point that I was trying to make in the beginning was that Gojo’s six eyes have never been wrong before in his entire life, so he didn’t think it was even possible for his eyes to be wrong. Then when he saw Kenjaku in Geto he realized that his eyes were giving him wrong information. And my idea was to look back at two previous statements that Gojo made based on assessments from the six eyes that MAY end up being wrong too. Hope this helps!! And your feedback def helps too!!

Maki isn’t a sorcerer though.. The grades only exist for sorcerers, curses spirits, cursed objects and cursed tools.

@@ShinyNumber1 She hasn't used that ability, but she definitely has wings and a halo which means she's fused with angel beyond what yuji has. And she clearly flew and used some sort of angelic light on that fishing cursed spirit while still being Hana.

Was it stated anywhere that fusing happens to different degrees? Afaik it was only stated that they either take over completely like Reggie, Ishigoori and Kashimo, or it becomes symbiotic like Yuji and Hana. The wings aren't Angel's cursed technique as that's specifically stated to be CT extuinguishing, I think they're just a secondary physical trait, like Yuji gaining his second pair of (closed) eyes after eating the first finger. Furthermore in the TCB scans of chapter 211 (viz isn't out yet), when Maki asks why Hana can exit the barriers she specifies that she's not the one doing the extinguishing. What's most likely happening is that she's letting Angel take over for that action specifically then switching back since they're on good terms (unlike Yuji and Sukuna). I could be proven wrong in the upcoming chapters though idk...

I think the second one is the least likely since kenjaku made him to lack cursed energy and made him very differently to the other curse wombs. I think four is a lot more likely since it's kind of implied yuji has some sort of memory technique he isn't aware of I think

Todo just made an estimate/simulation of Yuji's personality from observation. And author intent states no memory technique currently exists nor is understood to be possible at this time.

Hakari is definitely getting his arm back after Yuta heals him I think, but Todo I'm unsure of because it was stated that RCT can't heal idle transfiguration as your soul itself has changed shape, not just your body. And yeah Hakari and Yuta can probably still grow if the author wants them to, but I have my doubts if both of them will surpass Gojo.

I think you may have misheard me, I said right as his timer was running out. Kashimo did the exact same thing underwater and Hakari lost his arm for it. No arm = no domain = no jackpot. Secondly, Kenjaku’s plan wasn’t to wear him down. It was to get him so worked up that he was distracted enough for Kenjaku to lay out the prison realm (chapter 88 page 7). This was done to avoid getting him in his element, because he fights best when he’s alone. Having a lot of humans to worry about served as a perfect distraction for the prison realm to be set up. (Chapter 84 pages 12 & 13) This is verbatim stated… The wearing down thing was only relevant in the Toji fight as Gojo hadn’t unlocked RCT healing yet, and even in that arc he showed to have his limitless active for THREE DAYS before getting tired and then still going on to beat Toji. (Chapter 71 page 2 & chapter 70 pages 7 & 12)

So just as his rtc was going out he made a binding vow to heal his body in the place of his 1 hand in that 1-2 seconds interval because his immortal stage was running out. If he still has enough time for his immortal stage after the blast too be could have survived the whole blast.

People debate the validity of vol 0 all the time since Gojo doesn't really act like he's the clear strongest and Kenjaku only has Geto's memories to go off of. Yeah Sukuna is definitely enlightened and imo he is the strongest character on the series but Gojo's eyes are not just 'two' eyes His Six eyes allow him to understand the core of cursed energy and sense information from very minute particles and accelerates his thought process which allows him to think faster than his opponents and not only that he can use the most complicated CT 'Limitless' which requires precise CE manipulation at molecular level and his CE output is always optimised

They “ascend” from human in order to live longer and the extra body parts is a side affect of that, which is why tengen said to yuji if he lived for a couple hundred years he’d look the same. I don’t think the ascension is a power boost like awakening to reverse cursed technique is, otherwise Noritoshi Kamo would be worried about facing tengen the same way he was 100% against facing Gojo and Sukuna. Not saying Sukuna isn’t stronger than Gojo, but the whole extra body parts being a reason for why is a load of baloney.
