Yeah, that's right. 🌟 These are hypothetical scenarios about imaginary characters. Humans can imagine many things, including a character winning or losing against another. It's interesting to think about what could happen based on canon, but taking it too personally is a waste of effort.

If anything, both characters win just by having been included to begin with, in my opinion at least. There's so many possible matchups, yet not nearly enough time or effort/funding to include them all.

This comment gets it, it's more than just who can out pace the other. Superman has explicitly stated about how the entire world feels like cardboard, and how he needs to exercise extreme control as to not break something or some one. One of the few people he can actually let loose with is an evil god from a separate planet who seeks an equation that puts everyone under his control with despair. Goku would be one of the few good people who would consistently challenge superman, and one where Superman can throw down and actually get close to his limit. He can let go of a lot of the control he exercises and stretch his wings. Their actual interaction would be pretty wholesome, with Goku possibly being the clingy partner constantly asking for a sparring sesh with superman.

Nah honestly this video is clearly a troll and it kinda hurts any credibility they had left.

So a DC fan wouldn't bother learning the scaling in the DB universe and vice versa. For example, a power level of roughly 150 is able to easily destroy natural satellites and even small planets. A power level of 1,800 allows you to move at lightspeed.

I doubt Superman would actually enjoy dealing with someone like Goku though, most of the Justice League members shared a similar take on fighting being necessary but not desirable. Even Wonder Woman would rather not see violence if possible. Having an extremely powerful person like Goku - who also craves battle to the point that he ignores practically everything else in life - would probably be a danger in Superman’s eyes.

My favorite part of that whole "cardboard" speech is that Darkseid immediately kicks his ass afterward. It takes Lex showing up with the Anti-Life Equation to get Darkseid to stop.

Goku fans have consistently shown a lack of understanding of how his powers function, and they're among some of the simplest stuff in anime/manga

To be fair, it could've killed Vegeta on Earth if Goku didn't lose most of the gathered energy when he was blown away by Vegeta's ki breath and had Frieza not been at 50% strength and/or there had been more life to gather energy from, the Spirit Bomb could have potentially killed him on Namek too. On the flip side, as Buu showed (and as an unspoken "rule" of Dragon Ball, it seems), just being stronger than the user and/or the technique can allow the target to hold back or even deflect the technique in question. Had they not been able to deus ex Dragon Ball Goku back to full strength, Buu was on the verge of pushing back the Spirit Bomb entirely. Frieza, at his 50% strength, wasn't immediately engulfed by it either, but rather it had to overcome his efforts to hold it back. Had Frieza been at 100% strength at that time rather than later, he probably would've pushed the Spirit Bomb away too.

Goku would give superman his space goku has his training partner vegeta and he doesn't bother vegeta, goku has other training methods other then sparring with some one.

If you read the story world forger mentions the rest of his multiverse was collapsing. Meaning that superman didn't actually one shot the thing. It was the page when they returned to reality. We also have confirmation from the DCeditor (Andrew Marino) that world forgers multiverse wasn't stable and the only stable world was the future earth so when superman destroyed that everything starting collapsing. Basically outright confirms that Superman interrupted it, and wasn't actually that strong himself. It really depends what kinda feats he has in the comics then, but he might actually lose the strength category, giving Goku the win. Basically what superman did to the multiverse was like me taking out a support for a building. I mean regardless of the outcome the fight makes no sense it’s basically an immovable object vs an unstoppable force a character who has unlimited power vs one who has unlimited potential and growth! They would be best buddies in normal circumstances considering they have a lot in common but that’s irrelevant in this battle tbh.

So really there was no new material to work with at all lol (not to mention the fact that GvSM 2 just used the cut contents of the original script and didn't do any new research, so it was actually just an epilogue rather than an actual rematch)

The first flaw is that Superman destroys the World Forger's anvil and that causes the destruction of the multiverse, not the punch directly. And also Superman infinite frontier who only recovers the memories and experiences of his past lives, but not the feats or powers of the old versions of him. Death Battle seems to like Superman fan arguments. Both characters can win the fight, but they prefer Superman. It would have been epic if Goku managed to win or even draw. Superman has certain advantages, but Goku, after losing many fights, manages to win after a hard battle. We all know this would be the case. Akira has been able to create the most inspiring character that has ever existed. 💪🏻👊🏻 Today we enjoy epic battles thanks to him. R.I.P Akira Toriyama. 🕊

Makes sense. Superman rarely ever gets a chance to actually blow off steam outside of stressful, life-or-death battles or the occassional uninhabited moon for him to take out his anger on (see when Lex Luthor became President). That must be exhausting. So having a friendly spar against someone who can keep up with him, with absolutely NO consequences attached (because Super Dragon Balls) would probably be a huge breath of fresh air.

Exactly, even though Superman is unmatchable, he still cares about the experience. It's a no-brainer that Superman would win because he's just, well Superman, but it was a great decision to have him respect Goku as an equal and vice versa (even though Superman cannot be hurt in this case). As you said it was a spar, not a fight and it worked perfectly. It felt like 2 friends just being bros, I love the direction Death Battle went with for this version, very fresh idea.

Facts Gokus still a way better character than Superman and even after this I’m still happy that Goku stomps Saitama no diff😂🤣🤣🫵🏾

There's something where he and Beerus are fighting and their fight has universe shattering potential... That means Goku is contributing to it, but that can be as much as a single car contributing to global warming since Beerus still is more powerful than Goku even with U.I. Even IF (and that's a big if) he has universe shattering powers, then Goku dies in the vacuum of nothingness and Superman keeps on ticking because that's who Superman is.

(Edited) In Imaginary Axis' video he interviews one of DC's writers Scott Snyder and they openly talk about the DC multiverse having countless higher dimensions, way more than the basic 11 dimensions. They go over many other things like the true size of the multiverse and the dark multiverse and they briefly talk about the Omniverse. In the past, DC has been said in some instances to have infinite higher dimensions, while there are plenty of statements by other authors and characters in story that all give different answers to the exact number of dimensions, just remember DC is not always consistent with itself. Scott explains the 6th dimension he talks about is more of a plane of existence, that exist sort of as an over sphere to the entire cosmology as a whole. The 6th dimension is not a spatial dimension nor a temporal dimension. It is a realm where impossibilities happen, things beyond imagination. Guys like Drip Sauce are just downplayers, while some of his arguments are fair, my advice to you or anyone is to take his arguments with a grain of salt and do the research yourself.
