So basically only buy them if you see the vendor stocking or if it appears to be freshly stocked ?

Do the hits have a thicker card stock? I worry that people buy the heavy boxes and leave the light ones.

The hits do come on a thicker card stock. The card stock on the autos is thicker than the card stock on the regular numbered parallels.

Would you worry about buying blasters if it appeared someone beat you to it but a few were left? They could have bought all the heavy ones

Where are you finding that? Walmart has them at $35, target should be around $30
