Why did u sell it?

hello colleague! How did the detector behave on the beaches of Tenerife? I know there is magnetite.. does it see targets?

Steve W well done on finding the gold with the sov gt, brill detector, one of the best on the beach. Yes the c scope is a low tide detector where there isn't much trash, it picks up the smallest things but that's what you want down there. I've used the c scope on pasture around the place I found the gold coin and it's not bad at all, your digging iron as well, but you can tell the size of the targets before the shovel hits the ground. I would recommend anyone trying the c scope on the beach cos it's so cheap! Thanks for commenting cos it's nice to know your doing well on the beach

For Queen And country great machine and only use it near the bottom of the beach or clean areas cos it will pick up unbelievably small items. Down near the tide line I’m picking up little small pins but it’s great for gold and depth 👌

I would highly recommend a long handled strong sand scoop buddy. The 4pi is like a hoover on the beach. Shame there is no discrimination for the iron. Find grey clay on the beach and your laughing after a storm when the sand goes. I guarantee you will find jewellery and rings. I did on bacton beach after the beast from the east hit us. No good now though since they sandscaped it. GL HH

If you have been watching my vids I mainly detect on beaches so that’s why I bought the c scope but if you have a hunted out pasture I’d try the c scope for deep gold coins because it goes a lot deeper than most detectors simple, just ignore my advice if you want to I’m just trying to help others not walk over gold sovereigns 😊

A pi will find every bit of metal in the ground , Anyone using one on the land would be extremely lucky to find anything but a bucket full of junk and nails , Who do you no who has found a gold coin with a pi on farm land ? , And no I haven't been watching your vids and with this sort of silly advice I wouldn't recommend anyone else to do so either .

@@clarkfox7961 Lmao........of course it will pick everything up.......but that includes gold,silver and every other non ferous metal.There are many targets still left in worked out sites that will never be found with anything other than a pi because of their depth capabilities and their ability to cope with highly mineralised soil.Its more than worth going over a dead field with a pi machine......its hard work but if you work small patches thoroughly you can hit good targets that have been left by vlf machines.I certainly wouldn't recommend them as a main detector but as a specialist unit they will kill minelabs etc for depth on any field.

Clean out the field then take the pi on the field for the deep stuff

Dave Gregory yes Dave good machines, I only tend to use this Pi at the low tide mark and it still finds incredibly small little pins, cheers for commenting 👍

Tony Perkins I will do it in all modes next time, just wanted to do a basic test with only a little discrimination, most people use a bit of discrim. ( I personally use all metal most of the time ) the funny thing is the ctx rang out better than the Pi n the air test, but not in the ground? Just a note, my minelab Quattro picked the coin up better than the ctx. A More in depth ctx test next time and thanks for commenting.

By saying low tide I mean walking back with the tide from its upper to mid position, towards low tide some beaches are very clean down there and you will find yourself digging less trash. I use the Ctx mostly near the water but there are certain beaches that the 4pi excel on. I’ve never used a v3i but I do find most of my other detectors that are not minelabs tend to give false signals ( hot rocks etc ) so if I’m in the water I always use minelabs because they don’t false at all and are easy to set up.

@@onlygazza Thanks for the reply! Do you think that even the cscope 4pi in water gives false contacts? My beaches are completely black and some sections in the first cm of water are very clayey. Tnks Gianluca

@@gianluca14 regarding using the pi in water, not recommended because of the false targets, if you have it set sensitive it will false just touching the wet sand so I’d recommend a minelab for sea water. Beach detecting takes time to learn the beach, many expect to find goodies straight away and mostly this is false, you need to put in the hours to learn where the goodies end up, black sand very good though. Here’s an example for you, I go to a certain beach all the time and last year after years of detecting I found a pocket around 6 ft round that had loads of new coins in, nothing anywhere around it, just in that 6 foot area and I walked over it to go detecting every single time before so I tend to go where other don’t bother, especially rocky areas.

Funny enough I’ve been on the beach with it today with a 17 inch coil

griss shess it's hard work in those condition, and I find a hell of a lot of little pins because it doesn't discriminate. I did this just as a test to show well it works on gold sovs because some have been saying its crap, it is far from it, it's brill and deep seeker. I use minelabs most of my time on the beach but if I know the beach is clean and I'm going to the low tide mark I take this, you will dig rubbish but the things everyone else have missed will be waiting for you if your willing to work hard. I've been using a lot of the 3030 over the last year because of its good discrim ( bloody heavy though 😩) but if I can catch the very low tide I take the Pi. Thanks for commenting 👍
