I was given one of the Sacagawea 2000 P coins by my father who said, in 2000, that as long as I had this coin I'd never be broke. I've kept it ever since. I doubt it's worth the 13k described in the video but it is an always will be a nice sentiment from my dad.

I just went through my "large coin" coin book and I have four 2000 P sacagawea dollar coins, in excellent condition....so how do I know if it came from a cheerios box or not....

I think it needs the eagle strike on the back. Could be wrong idk. I was given one today with my change at a silver shop!!

@seansullivan1209 score! I've actually found out the difference. The cheerio one has a lot of cross details on the tail feathers of the eagle. The regular just has detail on the very end of the tail feathers

The regular has straight lines on the tail feathers. The cheerios one has lines and cross hatches, which make many smaller feathers. My son has been trying to sell his for years now. I have also been trying to sell rare coins. They do not sell.

i had a Sacagawea dollar with a missing date and an eagle and moon on the back. I took it to a coin dealer and he claimed , when he took in in the back to look at it under a scope, it was worth nothing but gave me back a different coin. I argued with him about it and he kicked me out.

It truly depends on many factors. Rarity, type, condition. You can have a gold coin be worth just it's gold value. Same goes for silver coins.
