Hi there! Thanks so much for watching my video. This is a simple gold leaf painting created with palette knives.
MATERIALS:
1. Gallery Wrap canvas
2. Acrylic Gesso- amzn.to/2Yj3amu
3. Acrylic Texture mediums- amzn.to/3c784Id
4. Acrylic paint- amzn.to/37i6BOv; amzn.to/30lTWZo
5. Palette knives & Brushes
6 Gold Leaf, Adhesive & Sealer- amzn.to/2XuFYRS. amzn.to/2zADGZy, amzn.to/2ZJ2Tvv
7. Clear Gloss Varnish- amzn.to/2B9BJnn
Steps:
1. Gesso the canvas
2. Apply texture
3. Paint the background
4. Create textural trees
5. Apply the adhesive
6. Add the Gold Leaf
7. Apply the sealer
8. Varnish the artwork

Hello! Your work is beautiful. I had a question. When I work with foil, it leaves some glittery remnant on the canvas (parts with no glue) even after cleaning a lot. Sometimes it also sheds glittery on touching. Is that normal? If not, how do you avoid it?

It is very beautiful. I wish there were times in the video that went slower because at almost 70 it was too fast for me to tell what you were doing. But that doesn’t take away from the talent and beauty

Beautiful! The design is simple but elegant at the same time and can easily elevate the look of any space in the home. I have 2 questions. Did you use actual gold leaf (from real gold) or artifical one? Do you have to apply a sealant on the gold leaf in the end to prolong the gold finish and prevent it from fading quickly?

I used the textural paste in cone. Yes I applied gold leaf on each tree.

I paint very slow and i take min 3-4 days to finish one painting. If I post it in normal speed it would be above 4-5 hours :)

@@NikkiChauhan , In KZfaq you have the option "Playback speed - from 0,25x (slower) to 2x (faster). Sooo love your art, sooooo disappointed that there is not a list of materials...
