On Episode 478 of Spittin’ Chiclets, the guys are joined by 4th Overall draft pick of the San Jose Sharks and World Junior Gold Medalist, Will Smith (01:05:51) to talk about team USA’s big win over Sweden. But first, the boys get into William Nylander’s new contract. Later on, Joey Daccord joins the show (02:16:41) to talk about his career and what drove him to become this year’s MVP at the Winter Classic. Lastly, the guys bring on Pasha (03:21:56) to go over a special moment he brought to light for a dear friend off the podcast that involved Wayne Gretzky and Nickelback lead singer, Chad Kroeger. Jersey Jerry took the internet by storm with his “Hole In One” livestream challenge…if Spittin’ Chiclets did a 24/7 Live Stream what are some things you’d want to see the boys do?

@@NEWFEEDS No joke, man! I give Leafs fans hell for delusional takes, but Biz has been so well thought out and just keeps getting better the more he works on his craft. Truly good for the sport, a great personality, a real person, and delivers the goods that will hopefully get people thinking for themselves rather than regurgitating what others say. The NHL needs personalities back in the league. They've been so subdued for the last decade- likely a product of Gary Bett's circus, but this pod is literally bringing it back singlehandedly.

So well thoughtout?? I love biz for what he is, but a lot of it was repetitive incoherent nonsense. He mixes metaphors, makes up new words... His talent lies in being himself. The reason he gets so tongue twisted is he's trying to be someone he's not. He's not that analyst guy, and he never will be. He has other unique talents that he should stick too

Absolutely true - and when you think about it why in the hell would a talented young player ever want to go to the flyers. For the past 25 years or so there are few more dysfunctional organizations. So much political infighting among the former players /execs. The Clarke, Barber, Holmgren cabal always working behind the scenes. If you step back and look at all the messy incidents that have gone on in that organization basically ever since Lindros era - Why would any young player want to be there. If you start doing a little homework and think about all the messy, messy events I could not think of any worse place to be. I mean I know they have a extremely loyal fanbase and if they like you there - they love you for life but still the percentages are really not good for a player with talent developing in that environment.
