I'm going to preface my analysis of the Diamond passes value here with this. I do agree that for $20 dollars CAD there should just be a few more incentives to bite the bullet on the Diamond pass. Cosmetics aren't all that valuable, especially if they aren't to your liking. Evo's being hit or miss can sway your decision on buying it as well. The Diamond pass is a shadow of what used to be the gold pass, and even with a Good Evo it does feel like it's could be better than what it is now. The Diamond pass only "economical" way to boost both Card, and Gold progression is still in the pass. 100,000 gold is technically worth $50 CAD. If I did my math right, you can get 4-6 times that amount in the Diamond Pass. So just off of how much Gold costs alone, for almost $20 CAD I am already getting "the best value" out of my money in the game. Card progression is also somewhat of a decent value from the diamond pass. Just accounting for total cards, after level 42 you get 11,581 cards per 60 days (if you constantly are unlocking chests with no break). Just from the available chests in the Diamond Pass, you get a total of 4,799 cards, including the Wild Cards that number gets bumped up to 5,907. Since the average month is 30.437 days, you practically double your card progression by buying the pass. Since by day 30 of the chest cycle you have gained 5,790.5 cards. Of course. If you really grind the game to its fullest, it isn't quite doubling your card progression. Since the season shop, Can wars, donations, Challenges and Tournaments like the Double Evolution ones are all ways to further add to your potential card progression. But the Diamond pass guaranteeing the rewards from Challenges is really nice. Also, the additional 25,000 season tokens also gets you really close to doubling the 30,000 season tokens you can get in an average month from Party Mode. So the only parts of the game that aren't directly boosted from buying the pass are Clan Wars, Card donations and Tournaments. Sure, the Diamond pass isn't worth it compared to the previous system. But for $20 dollars, there still isn't a better way to boost progression at all. Both Chests and Gold directly from the shop get ridiculously expensive really quickly. Most shop deals/packs also don't quite get you nearly as much value as the Diamond pass. Even the ones that get close still end up being 5 or more dollars than the Diamond pass. So the Diamond pass is truly the only "economical" way to gain a meaningful boost to your progression. Even if it does feel like a "scam" compared to what the pass used to provide for less money. It honestly seemed like too good of a deal, and I'm disappointed I burnt myself out just before the magic items came out. Would have saved a small chunk of change and would have boosted my accounts progression even faster than I have now with the Diamond pass... 🫠.

Im at early midladder(5k) and honestly, i buyed 2 diamond passes, and do not regret, Tesla and battle ram are great evos, I got too many gold (I aint with any upgradable card rn and have 500k gold) and i saving my wild chest to arena 16 so i get my first champion, if you're a starter and need gold, tokens evos, go to diamond pass

That was the only diamond pass Royale I ever bought. I personally really like the evo ice spirit because it’s mechanic is fun and reasonable. It gives a hint of strategic bliss. Plus, I’m a very defensive player, so people probably hate me, but, besides that, it explains why I like the evo ice spirit. I guess it also sorta explains why no one else likes it. I don’t always use it, but when I do, it’s normally in a defensive cycle deck since evo ice spirit can decently stop a small push with just 1 elixir. Even then, it helps your other low elixir cards get more value, as the opponents higher elixir cards don’t get to land as many attacks on your cheap stuff, allowing them to get more value.

I came back in the game when evo ice spirit was In the pass and I end up buying it because I didn’t know the passes value yet. At the same time, I’m neutral about it because I often use ice spirit In my decks.

I have bought almost every pass since season one, I now have 6 more cards to get to level 15, I have gotten to where the only "new" content for me is the evos, and I am not going to wait 6 months for shards. Other than that reason, the gold pass is by far better. Thanks for the informal video though, I never really knew the difference in passes

The diamond pass has 500 gems, with can be an insane value when you get to at least 10 wins in tournaments and buy the bonus track

used to regularly buy the pass, havent spend a single cent since a year. Old Gold passed actually gave you stuff for your money, 5€ book of books, magic coin and bunch of other stuff The Diamond pass at 3x price has less value than the old pass had. thats just sad

The worst part is not even the lack of content diamond pass gives more than golden one, it's the price. In my country , 12$ converted to my country's currency is a robbery, so , more than bad evolutions and lack of content as i said, it really depends on your country / region, cause for some people like me , the diamond pass is not even a pass it's a ''optional'' money scam

Yo dawg I just looked at my Diamond pass and there's 500 Gems that I don't think the Gold pass gives you (25 on Each of the Big Shiny Diamond Tiers) I think that would cover the extra 5$ Right? Those Big Shiny tiers also have magical and Giant chest I feel like that would over cover the 5$ Correct me if I'm wrong I've never bought the gold version of the pass so idk but I've always figured the Big Shiny Tiers were Diamond Pass exclusive, Still not a bad take over all though some ppl may wanna spend no more than 10$ on a mobile game

The fact the diamond pass is worth 2 old gold passes and provides less progression as opposed to the old system which guaranteed a book of books and a magic coin just tells you it's not worth buying anymore. If it were, idk, Evo Xbow and you're an Xbow player then by all means go buy the Diamond Pass, but it's value has become even worse now that the wildcards are out of the shop

You completely ignore the fact that they give up those 1000 season tokens for free now which they didn't before so if you actually play a season you get more rewards as an f2p although it sucks that you can't cop a bob for 5 bucks anymore but that doesn't affect f2p ppl. My real complain is lvl 15
