I don’t know how it could help you, but I learned something from an ex girlfriend’s boss who worked at a zoo.Flying insects, ALL OF THEM, will not fly into “disturbed air”… like for instance, the disturbance a small fan makes. Once he told us that, I put an oscillating fan on our deck and never seen another mosquito on that deck again. It actually works. If they’re really bad, Just point the fan right at where you’re sitting. They won’t come near it.

Great instructional video again, i'm glad you mentioned dish soap in the cons bucket while filling it, most use it in their cleanups, but forget to when filling the cons bucket and emptying out the excess water back into the creek, nice area you have to work with.

A very good result for the little bit of mud. The short channel to the pond is really a good gold catcher. Damn mosquitoes. 👍🤠

Those are blackflies... We get to look forward to the mosquitoes after they leave :) ... And yeah, those were the concentrates from 22 half pails... I didn't film getting all of teh pails becaus eI didn't think you guys would like to see me getting eaten alive by bugs for 4 hours :)

Thanks so much Gail!... I did 22 half buckets because that's as much as I could do before I got fed up of dealing with blackflies... Lol... The cons are what the clay from those buckets happened to be holding ... As much as clay is hard to process, the nice thing about it is only super heavy stuff will sink into it! Great question BTW and thanks for letting me nerd out :)

What app are you using for your excellent thumbnails?

Glad you like them pal! I use MS Powerpoint as the base and I use Paint (all windows computers have paint) to remove the backgrounds on things I want to drop into the thumbnail... For example, this thumbnail is the gold background with a picture of me prospecting (background removed) and the hand with the drill (background removed)...

It's one of my best spots, but only pays out once a year with flood gold... Twice if I blow up a beaver dam later on...
