Gold sluicing 12 mile creek New Zealand.. We found a pay streak and followed it!

We went back to the hole I found my first picker in and dug out some more gold.
We found the pay streak and moved a lot of earth to follow it. It rained all day and the water is freezing but we are hooked!

They are alpine creeks where we are. Fed mainly from snow melt.

@@UNEARTHGOLD very clear it looks like. I was referring more to the sands and stones. Yours look gray and foliated and clean for a lack of a better word... lol. Ours are brown, muddy full of clay and silt. Nasty stuff around here.

The water is amazing here! I always take a few empty bottles and fill them up with some alpine water to drink. You have some awesome videos yourself!

Consider to first scrub your equipment. There’s still fat on there. Do gold floats with fat and oil.

Yeah I know!! We were down to the bed rock but you just can't get into the cracks with a shovel. We will go back there one day and clean it out.

Lads , What is the thing that goes straight up (just to the right of you guys). It is visible @ 3:49 and stops when the frame changes @3:51. would love to know please? Keep enjoying getting out there

Haha good spotting there Scott! It's a bug of some sort.. Takes about 10 seconds in real time I noticed it when putting the video together, though I'd see if anyone noticed!
