I thought early on when investing in miners that they were like the banks with money in the ground. END THE FED. Gold is money.

I bought a significant dollar amount from ARK silver/ Ian with my inherited IRA proceeds (which is stored in a vault in the U.S.) I can not say enough good about Ian and his company. He is the most honest individual I could find in order to buy any presious metals. A man of high intergity.

Do you mean "in your safe deposit box" that you can get into and hold it and take home, or you talking about you trust someone to hold your gold/silver for you? In January 1980 there were many people that thought they were the smartest people in the world investing in gold/silver in the 70's only to cry tears as big as horse turds when their gold/silver wasn't there. For every ounce of gold/silver in banks there are probably 10 people laying claim to it.

Silver is currently lagging Gold but this only shows in my opinion that Silver's move will be tremendous as the ratio continues to drop back to 16:1 to 28:1 within 3-5 years. When Gold hits $4,000 by about 2027 I imagine Silver will be $50-$80.00 per oz. 2024-2028 was when I predicted several years ago that we would see huge moves up in both metals because inflation will get worse and Gold and Silver are real money NOT fiat U. S. Dollars.

The ratio right now is 90-1 Silver should be at a minimum of $100.00

I have heard this over and over, but the gold, silver ratio chart does not seem to support this theory. Please have someone speak directly to the chart which appears to predict the ratio hitting 150:1 somewhere around 2028/29 then dropping back to where we are today, maybe a little lower. But, never returning to historical ratios as there are many fundamental factors which have changed over time, like the amount of energy to mine an oz of gold compared to an oz of silver and that gold is now a tier one asset, while silver is not. Or you can consider any substantial rise in price, since around 500oz go into a missile, will lead to price controls or government's taking control of a mines output at a set price. Thus, not allowing the public to purchase very much of it, for the good of the nation. Thanks, not being critical as much as like the start of the milkshake podcast says "imagine you are talking to a dog or small child"; I am new to this and looking at weekly and monthly charts, I am just not seeing the drop in the ratio like many advocate, is inevitable.

There are interesting questions, I would say many people still view silver as money and price controls always produce the exact opposite effect than intended. Just my 2 cents.

I think it's been well documented that silver price has been manipulated in a downward direction many times before. It seems like if that ability ended the price would rise and then possibly get back to g/s ratios seen in the past more matching mining from the ground at about 6-1 . Just a thought. Peace.

silver is crap until it demonstrates the ability to breach $30 with momentum. Gold is no bargain either. It should be $1,000 better right now.

gold must be revalued by the central banks in order to keep the system solvent. My guess is the central bankers will revalue gold. Beware derivative traders.

The crime of 1873 signed into law by Ulysses.S.Grant,paved the way for the gold standard.This was highly controversial at the time as you were no longer able to turn your silver into legal tender. Many believe this is the story of the Wizard Of Oz
