@@redbloodcell4047 so what? united and chelsea were fined for FFP last year and realistically should be bottom half of the table. united have the most expensive team in the history of football, not just english football, global. they've blagged their way to 8th, which even that they shouldn't have got. they've bought all the players they want and can't even get into europe. city have been by far the smartest with their money and it's paid off by winning everything. all the top clubs could afford the city squad, but they haven't been close to the level of scouting as them.

Mark is delusional beyond words. City won the title on the final day in 2022, Arsenal had the title in their hands but bottled it in 2023, and in 2024 it will be decided on the final day. It's not like they've won the title every year with 5 games to play. It is incredibly close at the top for the past few years, the premier league is not a farmers league because of City's money, it is a farmers league because their players are much more consistent and perform better under pressure. City spent less on players in recent years than Chelsea or United, Pep is just better at spotting talent and value for money. All three promoted teams in the 2023 season stayed up, Brighton secured European football last year, Villa secured champions league this year. It is still the most competitive league in the world, where shocks and upsets happen frequently, but just because United's biggest rivals are the ones winning titles every year, it means they're destroying the league. I GURARANTEE you he wasn't complaining 15-20 years ago when United were winning almost every year. Grow up, Mark. Focus on your own team being mid table. Demand more from your team's players, coach and owners rather than spend your energy crying about your rivals being consistently better.

He didn't bitch about Liverpool winning with 99 points with a big gap after getting 97 points the previous seasons. He always says "oh united dominance had close title races" like City weren't always under pressure lmao. They nearly lost the league at the last match against Villa, Arsenal bottled last season after being 90% of the season at the top. 17/18 19 points 18/19 1 point 19/20 Lost by 18 points 20/21 12 points 21/22 1 point 22/23 5 points 23/24 "potentially" 2 points and apparently this is boring? And then at 9:05 he complains about City having a great sub keeper as if they bought Ortega with huge money (he was a free transfer, and how much was Onana for?)

He’s whinging, but in all of City’s title winning seasons, I’d say in 17/18 and 20/21 they won it at a canter. In 18/19, 21/22, 22/23 and this year, they have been pushed to the limit (maybe not as much in 22/23 due to an Arsenal capitulation). Just take your hats off to them, they’re able to hold their nerve time and time again.

Like their team is far superior to eveyone in the league, there is no denying that (and not even their fault they are that good). The second City go 1-0 up in any game you know its a done deal. It's amazing that Arsenal took it to the last day but in 2024 City have only dropped 4 points. Like seriously how can any team compete against those stats, its ridiculous. Man City will score in the first half and you know there is no chance that West Ham will come back. I hope I'm wrong and I'll apologise if so, but I said City will win the league all season. It's that predictable which makes it boring imo.

Literally one of the only seasons in England where the promoted clubs are relegated and the last few title races have been incredibly tight, but city are the most consistent hence why they win the league

Ortega came from Arminia Bielefeld in 2022 (now a 3rd league german team) on a free transfer. That´s not being the richest juggernaut in the world. That´s just some good old scouting. Something missing from United for more than a decade. You should worry more about what´s happening with your own team, and less with boring old CIty that just do everything right.
