One thing I noticed with De Gea on those penalties is that he’s waiting to look where they’ve kicked it rather than guess. This means that his reactions are too late and he can’t save them even going the right way. It’s a tactic that works against my mate, but will rarely work on professionals who can kick the ball harder

Yet what was spent on his watch was Van de beek 40m Diallo 40m Pellistri 10m Telles 25m James 12m 4 of “oles” signings were on the bench and he never used them to influence the game in 90mins and there are fans out there who say to back him this summer, are you insane? I wouldn’t give him another penny if I owned Utd until he can explain to me what just happened tonight tactically and why do I have 117mil on the bench of his signings and I don’t see one of them come off the bench in 90mins when I can see players dead on their feet from 70mins! The club is a train wreck, Ole won’t make it by October in my opinion particularly if we get the “random” (yeah right)fixture lists as normal, our home form is frankly pathetic and tonight’s game has swing the pendulum clearly towards Ole out majority.

I wanna get one thing out there, I'm triggered af and furious at ole, but I just wanna say I'm happy for the players who scored their pens. Far less frustrating for the fans knowing the one who missed the pen was the keeper. Would be much harder to take if it was an outfield player, particularly a forward, who cost us with a miss, but I think they deserve credit

We should go in for either Nick Pope, Sam Johnstone or Emi Martinez. Whether we would attract Martinez I don't know but the other two I think we could.

Not de Gea’s fault in the end. The out field players messed the game up so we drew it taking it to extra time and pens. A GK missing a pen really ain’t bad. Plus he’s served the club admirably.

@@mattm7426 The ones that were shot straight in the middle. There were two of them I believe. It's a well known fact that De Gea is bad at saving penalties, especialky after Spain wefe dumped out of the Worldcup by Russia in a penalty shootout.

It's about time someone said this. I've been saying this for weeks but United fans won't listen. They did really well to finish 2nd and their form has dipped. Liverpool are still among the top 2 best teams in England. The way the league finished isn't an accurate representation of the best teams in England at all.
