What does everyone think about the cohesiveness of the entire FA? The U18, U-23, and the senior team that is. Do they all play a certain style? Is there one culture? It can be argued that Slovenia, Croatia, Austria, etc… all play a certain way. They mostly have grown together in the U-18, U-16 teams so they have better cohesion and teamwork. They know their roles and play them well. As an American, I see the lack of cohesion in my team and competing styles of play. The U-23 play quicker and more pressing than the senior team. With not a lot of time in camps, long term culture has to be the thread that ties the team together. I could be wrong but I am missing something here? We will all acknowledge that the English team is superior in talent but with out cohesion, it makes them look fallible.

I'm not sure you can put much of the blame on the players. They look like they know their coach is putting forward a system that's never going to work. Imagine what this group of players and the amount of fire power would look like under Pep or Klopp or even Arteta.
