This is Rashford at 26 - a peak age for a Winger. One goal this season. Lets not forget he is dependent mainly on pace and will grow slower. His Premier League career could be over in 2 years. Man Utd are bonkers for handing him a new contract.

@@TheJayMarshfor a player whose main attribute is Speed. Yes 26 is his peak, he has until 28 and then he will begin to lose a step. Then we will see if he has the football intelligence to adapt to the lose of pace, from what I've seen of Rashford. I don't think he will be able to adapt very well at all.

It’s pathetic - does he attack Talksport and Skysports when they have huge panels slagging him off? He needs to start playing for United and not his brand. Talksport, Skysports, BBC all use headlines - TS are often very misleading - there are far worse Rashford related thumbnails on there than anything and he decides to have his PR team wade in on a fan channel. It’s not just rashford a lot of players are unhappy about people talking about them in a way they don’t like (look at Maguire and how much the media coddle him), even if it’s constructive criticism. Sadly a lot of so called pundits have sided with such players and are essentially enabling them. Rashford needs to walk the walk on the pitch and stop worrying about people’s opinions of him. If he cares too much about people’s opinions he’ll only slump in form more.

Let's face it, this will be the 2nd season out of the last three in which Rashford has been really poor if it continues for the rest of the season. How people think he's the star player just shows how far the club has fallen always been average since he debuted has a few good spells and people hype him up. Just have to look at second half of last season to see that apparent best player in world because he had more goals at one point than Haaland,Mbappe it's laughable

I think some players just need to be more realistic about the nature of being a Premier League player in the modern game. The reason their salaries are so high is because of people like Mark Goldbridge, talksport, Sky News etc covering the game so extensively. If you don't like it go and play in League 2.

I said this on another video, that Rashford undoubtedly has talent, but his career is in serious jeopardy while at Man Utd. If he wants to ressurect it, he needs to remove himself from the pressure cooker that is the club at the moment, and prove his talent elsewhere. People on that thread started saying "Nobody will match his wages". Fine, but if he's happy letting his career die he needs to accept it. Otherwise, he has the choice of a permanent move (domestically or abroad), or take a loan move. The former can be achieved if Man Utd's appetite is whetted by money (this will also get him off the wage bill), with the former only being possible if Man Utd want to retain his potential while looking after their man. Because clearly, as long as he's at Man Utd, especially at this current moment in time, he is not going to be able to demonstrate that he is indeed the player we (mostly) all think he could and should be. Man Utd definitely have options here, it just depends on their strategy. But surely Rashford's agent needs to be making a few calls...

@@F--B quite a bit actually. Firstly, Man Utd aren't "Villa level". Only Villa are "Villa level", so that's an unquantifiable statement right there. But if you think that say league position is an indicator of 'level', then Man Utd are below Villa's level... Secondly, he would not fit into Villa's setup. Villa don't need him and they don't really need his type of player (unless he's more flexible than he's previously shown). True, he'd do a better job than Zaniolo but he wouldn't track back either, and I don't feel he'd press. Plus Zaniolo is a stop gap for the injuries to Ramsay and to a lesser extent, Buendia. Both of whom fit Villa's style of play better than Rashford would.

@@herrzyklon people use terms like 'villa level' to indicate a general standard and placement within the league i.e. a generalisable 'level.' As such, it refers neither to a single team nor to a single league position. Claiming that the term could only possibly relate to a single team - Villa - or a single position in the league makes absolutely no sense. As to your second point, you'll note that I said he should have gone to Villa 5 years ago. I await your analysis of their team at that time.

Man Utd have made lots of bad decisions since Fergie left, and by far the worst one was giving Rashford a new contract never mind the £350,000 per week! They should have sold him to PSG when they came in for him. He’s a PSG type of player as well if you know what I mean.

The criticism of Rashford by Utd fans is out of proportion. He has fantastic stats in 3 out of the last 4 years, and compared to Anthony and Martial , his criticism is too much. I am a Utd fan and watch Goldbridge's United stand and it is clear to me, in trying to defend non English players against the biased English media, he goes too far the other way. In my opinion Rashford has been poor this season but less poor than most of United's other front players- Garnacho the one exception.

I do not rate Rashford as a player even though im a United fan. He's just not that good and is overrated because he's British. I would rather favour Grealish, Sterling, Foden or even Sancho on the left for England. There's many left wingers in the PL which are just better and more consistent. We should've sold him.

Rashford has never been used as a scapegoat. His form spiked last year and lets be truthful about it. BUT there are many players not performing...Bruno, Antony, Mount.. .. ... Rashford needs to learn how to pass and stay off social media. He gets paid quite well to play Football.
