Yep, been coaching youth football for 12 years and we teach the kids to switch the ball if they can't pass forward. It's fundamental football. As Pep would say....."You don't pass to move the ball, you pass to move the opposition" - how many times did we force Newcastle to become out of shape? As this rate I wouldn’t be surprised if we made a championship midfield Look world class. I thought our midfield was maybe 3rd or 4th worst in the league at the start of the year but it might actually be the worst and that’s not even exaggerating. We looked so disjointed and can't dominate midfield battle. Cavani represented the Man Utd shirt today - he was the only hungry player. The rest didn't put in a shift. Rashford has peaked and is DONE! Bruno is overrated!

Its clear that there is a lot of politics at United with the players holding too much power. There is too much focus on image and not enough on the football, that applies both to the club and to the players. Players like Rashford, McTominay, and Maguire are continually protected even when their performances don’t warrant it. Rashford has become a brand that is heavily focused on everything else but football. It’s damaging his ability to focus, creating even more pressure on him and he isn’t performing. What do other players think when they see certain players continually picked even when they aren’t performing? If you don’t fear being dropped and there’s no competition how do you develop? Is Ragnick being forced to play Rashford and Maguire? Strange how he continues with almost the identical team as Ole…

As an outsider I’ve said for a while that Rashford should be sold. He was good when he started but he’s so one dimensional and as he’s grown up every team is onto him. He’s also the kind of player that would fetch a high transfer fee from a club like PSG or a lower PL club. Greenwood is so much better than him.

I’ll risk verbal assault: Ronaldo has been our best player this season. But I don’t think his signing was ever planned, it has upset the team dynamic. So we now have a team where the whole is less than the sum of the parts. Don’t blame Ronaldo, but the team has reacted badly. The owners are responsible and should butt out of transfer decisions.

Bruno is a cam that is being played on the wings, you can’t expect him to play his best. He was much better in the second half when he got moved into the centre.

4-2-2-2 is not working when your opponents defending with 4-5-1 because they can overload the midfield and when we go to wings they already have a player to mark the fullback so we get forced backwards and repeat .

Its too early to say but you may be right. I think the main problem is theres no team balance. For away games you cannot play rashford and Ronaldo together. Thats too many passengers for the others to carry. You need more energy, cavani even better than ronnie. Rashford should be a sub

Let this sink in, The only players that Klopp didn't sign and still in the Starting 1st team are Henderson and Firmino. The final Starting 1st team player bought was Alisson 2.5 years later. Most of these UTD players haven't got it there DNA to play the "Gegenpress", that's quite obvious.

I don't know how you can keep criticising Ole's time at the club, when the same players that underperformed for him are now underperforming for a new manager? Ole made mistakes, but I think it's clear to see that the problems weren't all down to Ole and his coaching staff.

This Club had no chance once the Glazers bought the club. The second was once the club gave the power to the players by not backing Mourinho agaisnt Pogba, then handing the club to Ole who tried to be the friends of the players and supported new contracts for no work. The players are over paid.

Ole made these players seem like world beaters, raised our expectations and lost his position when he couldn’t squeeze any sap out of them anymore. This is going to be hard task for Ralf and I hope he gets the best of these players.

He struggled to last an hour playing under OGS, so I imagine playing Ralf’s system he’d be gassed out after one half of football? I honestly think Matic is too old now and doesn’t have the engine. I agree that Donny should get some more game time though. I really hope we bring in some Midfield talent in Jan.

I really do not want to see Maguire in a united shirt I’m sick of him. Hold onto the ball way too long and never knows what to do with it so always looks for the long ball. He needs to be sold for a loss. We need new RB, CB and two midfielders and a striker. Looking at the squad we have now I’m starting to realise it’s no where near good enough

He has no 1st touch, he has no spatial awareness, poor decision-making, no footballing IQ, no technical ability and no composure. The fraud literally treats the ball like a bomb, lumping it away as soon as he receives it because he's not comfortable in possession with players around him. That's shocking for any player, let alone a supposedly top flight player. There's a reason Sporting has SIGNIFICANTLY improved since selling him. *SIGNIFICANTLY.*

The end of the 2019/20 season Utd played the season behind closed doors and a covid break which introduced 5 subs and helped Utd rescue a top 4 position, eventually ending 3rd. The majority of the 20/21 season was behind closed doors. They didn't have the pressure of the fans and as a result some players played better than they actually are and ended 2nd. Fans have returned this season and alot of those players have reverted to type. They cannot handle the pressure of playing big games for Utd. There has been a massive drop off of Utd players with fans in the stadium. They cannot hide their poor performances anymore.

Also for chelsea only had tuchel for half a season and liverpool had problems with injurys i doubt utd would of even finished 2nd if chelsea had tuchel for whole season and if Liverpool did not have that injury crisis and of course as you mention the fans not being there probs had a impact too

Why blame the players. The coach should be responsible. This is his 3rd game and playing the same squad. Rangnick need to play the hungry players like Bailey, Donny etc. playing the same ole team will get Rangnick only 6 months as a coach honestly. We needed changes in the squad with new faces having a chance but Rangnick still sticking with most of ole boys
