I would argue Evans has been one of our most valuable players this season, we initially signed him looking to be in a coaching role and he's now played nearly 30 games, without him we would of been putting a lot of pressure on teenagers to play a lot of games

8.5 for Dalot, he has shown he’s world class, defends well and attacks good too

My top 5 in order Garnacho - 8 (POTS) the progression has been amazing Garnacho consistently plays well. he’s always exciting & he makes an impact every game. He’s broke his way into the first team as a star in the making. Very impressed. Dalot - 8 he’s been really consistent this year you know what to expect from him every game. he always puts in a 7/10 wether that’s playing LB or RB. Big year for dalot he’s secured that RB position for me always playing well despite his defence being chopped and changed almost every week. Varane - 7.5 he’s been our best CB by far this year. you can always rely on him and he shows good leadership in the defence. Keep him for another year minimum players can learn of a goat like varane. Hojlund - 7.5 I’ve been very impressed with Hojlund his form of recent has been great. he’s kept his head down and worked hard proving the haters wrong showing he has the right mentality even when he struggled to score in the premier league. He offers so much more than just goals to our game too his work rate is perfect and he hold up the ball well. (Could have easily been an 8/9 if he got more service). Mainoo - 7.5 it’s hard to grade him by his standards coming straight into the first team but he’s been great and has stabilised our midfield. A young exciting player with big potential and many good qualities at only 18 years old.

Rashford a 2. I am being extremely kind here. ..

Eriksen 5 Last season he surprised me. Played very well. Before Andy Carroll hacking. Need to cash in on his free agency

Antony is a better team player and hasn't spat the dummy on and off the field, agreed he shouldn't be rated the same as Rashford, Rashford hasn't been as good

His rating system makes no sense. lol In his post-match ratings, he says he gives scores based on the individual and their own potentials (e.g. strict on Bruno and lenient on McGhost), but here it's all comparative to each other (but he still says it's relative to the player for players like McTominay)? Also, Dalot is a 9. Dude has been our most consistent player all season and has been available for every game besides one because Michael Oliver is braindead. Also, I think everyone loves Rasmus, but giving him the same rating as Dalot or Garnacho isn't fair. He's been well-below their levels up until December.

You should do a pre season predictions score for each player then a mid season one and one at the end of the season

I think 6 is just too high for Onana, I would give him 5 best case scenario and even would consider 4. This guy almost single-handedly kicked us out of the european football this season due to being by far the worst goalkeeper in the Champions League group stage. Giving him 6 is simply a recency bias because he has been playing ok recently.

Fernandes 7 His availability is incredible. Sets an example as Captain. Maguire didn't do. His creativity wins games and his Work Ethic Nobody on the team can match

I think the whole grading system is flawed because the premise is deeply flawed. You can’t grade someone relatively to their own on level to judge them in unison as a whole. If I’m bad at math, but relative to my level I do the best I can at a test, I won’t get an A, I may get a C because that’s the general standards. You got to judge the players based on the standards of Man United and the job they’re assigned to do. Not based upon their level. A 7 out of Mctominay is not a Man United 7 grade, but probably a 4-5. It’s an internal logic by Mark. By that logic Djemba Djemba could be a fine 9 because he delivered everything he had in the shirt, so relative to his level it’s a 9, which is not good enough in a United shirt. It’s a misguided evaluation system.

I believe varane average is higher than Maguire and Evans so I'm rating them on the person even tho varane is better than them Maguire played better on his average
