See how the last girl's hat is saying "I'm not made for dancing" during the first moves, and slowly falls down, and she just responds "all right then you'll also be a scarf and I'll use you as such and my moves will even be enhanced by you", till the end, she gradually makes it a new accessory. It's an example of how obstacles can be transformed in strengths along our way, through the power of our mind:) It was beautiful, magic, I love so much those directions that some people are taking. This is how fashion shows must be. Look at the women so happy and comfortable in their clothes, their skin and body. No one is skinny and dead looking. Fashion industry portrays such vicious messages to millions of girls out there who starve themselves to look like a VS model or something. None of those icons are comfortable in their clothes. I can’t stop watching this video, I ❤️it! I’m British-Mauritian, but a point I feel I need to make: I don’t whether it’s an ancestry thing or genetics, but I feel when people of colour dance, we dance with our heart and soul. Whether we can dance or not, our body tunes into our native song or even the beat and our soul automatically tunes in. It makes us smile and we feel happy. I was born in the U.K. and my parents came from Mauritius. Although I was born in the U.K., my natal was and formative years, I was brought up as atypical Mauritian child, English became my language when I startled nursery, (which makes sense as 1970s in the U.K. was very racially charged at the time.) I am very proud to be British but also very proud to be of Mauritian origins. Mauritian music and dance is part of my DNA’s and honestly when you get into it with family and friends, it’s very intoxicating to your senses and honestly, sometimes you feel as if in a trance. The Mauritian music, (I’m of both Creole and Asian), originally it was a way of communicating amongst slaves, without the slave masters understanding what they were communicating as it was against the rules. My maternal grandmother was born to a slave, my great-grandfather was the French plantation master. My grandmother was released from that plantation because her mother died during childbirth when my grandmother was 3, and went to live with her aunt, who was already free from slavery through her husband. So, naturally I have much respect for Mauritian music and dance, even though it’s part of our rich Mauritian culture, it’s humble beginnings means a lot. When people talk about slavery, it’s always about the great and abhorrent horror of slavery in America, but nobody cares to know that slavery continued for a further almost 150 years in other parts of the world, and it is still going on in modern time
