@spirit69warrior Excellent point I've been trying to convey that message for years. Ppl act like there isn't such a thing as lighting. Putting dark colored ppl in different light set ups makes them lighter (we had conversation about this my film class & I've tested it). Again, good point.

I know right. she is the same complexion . people act like blacks don't get tanned or get lighter in the winter. we all shed layers of skin everyday and plus whenever you see famous people on television they appear lighter because of the make up and stage lighting

@amenadoryn - I thought I was the only one who'd noticed that she is a completely different shade of black since she starred with Shemar Moore in the first Motives film - but apparently not! Incidentally, another irony is that she's talking about the manipulation of women into thinking that showing 'everything' is what they need to do to get on but isn't that exactly what she did in that film? I saw parts of this woman that should only have ever been visible to her husband - in private!!
