We are staying Golden Forest in May so I feel soooo lucky you did this video before we go! We have two young kids and we plan to go back to hotel for breakfast and snacks. They eat lots of fruit and it seems hard to find fruit at the parks so I am happy to see a decent fruit selection. As for me that trout sandwich looks perfect! 😋 Thank you so much Sam! ❤

Hi Sam, We stayed already 2 times in golden forest club (March 2022 and January 2024) and it 's great! So relaxing in the morning especially when you are with kids. Staff is super friendly Sam, you give such good, detailed information. You are great! I love your videos. Can't wait for the next one. My daughter and i also love the Mickey marble Cake. So yummy!!! Great to see an up to date, detailed vlog about Golden Forest, we stayed at Sequoia last month at it's a great hotel, been looking at the Golden Forest as the lounge alone would make me go for it as it is super busy in main breakfast and that looks way more chill! I didn't know about the luggage that's a great perk as we stood for a while dropping off luggage when we arrived. Its all the little added extras that would make a difference 😊

I love how peaceful breakfast looks here! I was in Sequoia Lodge in the beginning of november, in a regular room. And while I really enjoyed the breakfast, my goodness was it hectic. Also, why do they have to play loud music as well? I seriously might book Golden Forest next time, it looks amazing. Thanks for filming this video! :)

Stayed there in March. Liked it very much. We weren't allowed in on our check in day. We checked in at 7am. The best thing in the lounge was the fresh squeezed orange juice machine. Would love to return. 😊

Little Late but happy birthday zoey :) sequia is my favourite hotel. But I never stayed at the Golden forest club. But maybe If I go the first time all by myself I will choose this or the 🧭 club. But I think the forest looked more chilled ans cozy so I'm still not sure :) I'm happy that you had a nice time I always love your videos ❤️

We have been lucky to stay in a Golden Forest room a few times. As with the club level at the Newport, the cast members are more than happy to give you free drinks to take into the park for the day. We filled up with sparkling water and juice in the morning and did the same after chilling back at the hotel in the afternoon before heading back out to the park.

Back in the day, (i think it was 10 years ago) the golden forest lounge was a character breakfast with Minnie, Eeyore and Mickey. Ive got some amazing memories of staying there! And the golden forest club including charcter breakfast made th3 extra money for club level worth it.

Great video on what club level gets you, you mentioned you can't access the lounge on check out day. Does that that mean for breakfast you have to go elsewhere on the last day or is that just for the snack period after breakfast?

We always do club level at NPB and it’s great. However, when we visited earlier this month they informed us at check-in about the afternoon snacks not being available on check-out day which was a surprise and rather disappointing as we got it last time. We love the afternoon snacks as it’s a good chance to have a rest and some snacks before heading back into the parks for evening rides!

I will say, when we stayed in the GF room in late February, most of what was available to you for afternoon tea, wasn't what was available for us, unfortunately. Breakfast slot around 730am was always really busy when we went and even had to wait 5 mins one day, which didnt bother us. The staff were so lovely in the GF lounge and we loved going in for the "free" drinks as soon as we got back to the hotel.

We stayed golden forest in December and then tried to add it for our March trip but it was sold out. We were gutted cos it was so perfect for us and we only paid about £250 extra for 4 people for 4 days. Well worth the £££!

The lack of plugs in Sequoia is so annoying. My father has to sleep with a machine because of sleep apnea and we had to ask the reception to lend us an extension ( they ask you a 40€ deposit and then when you return the extension cord they give you your money back). Since the rooms can accommodate 4 people and normally we are out the whole day in the park, when we arrive at the room everyone wants to charge the phones, cameras, power banks and in our case, the sleep machine too, so only one or two plugs, especially were they are situated, is not enough. I will never take the plugs for granted again ahah

Every time I see the rooms of Sequoia Lodge I feel like they are outdated. And that’s a bit sad because the theming is nice. I would love to see a more “fresh” look but still within the woods theme. Maybe after the renovation, then I will definitely try Golden Forest club 💕 PS How awesome would club level be if they add it in Cheyenne 😏🤩

I'm a Sequoia Lodge lover, but never gave this option much thought; I'm not a big breakfast eater and since there is no difference in the room I dont think its worth it for me! The only reason I'd enjoy it would be to get the different card because sleeping bambi be cute! I'm a park all day kinda girlie; and love getting just a water/juice and a croissant/paun eu chocolate at the market house deli and sit outside watching the hoardes of people enter the parks 🥰🤣

After having stayed in the Disneyland Hotel Castel Club, I would say the Golden Forest Club is not worth it for me. 😅 But I obviously don't know the price and it might be worth for people who wouldn't be able to afford the Castle Club. 😊 Maybe after the renovation, which is definitely needed, it would be worth it for me, too. I would still like to know your opinion, though. Xx

We stayed last month and from watching your video it looked like we stayed in a completely different hotel! It was our most disappointing hotel stay in Disney ever.

Sam has that changed we always stay club level in Sequoia lodge and are able to access club lounge on departure day and have always been told this also at checkin . We were there is January and they had a sign on the front desk of the lounge that anyone who is willing to pay on the day can access the lounge I think it was €35 for breakfast . Breakfast options have decreased significantly also just looking at your options it’s shocking how much they have removed ,all the yogurt gone except the one you pump now . Absolutely shocking when you pay extra to stay club level in my opinion . So staying club level is not exclusive to club level once anyone is willing to part with their money on the day which was the case for us , it was a free for all in January . The cast members in The lounge are the best though so kind and welcoming. OMG I have just got to the end of the video and you said they have changed this so now you can’t access the lounge . Another thing that has been removed from club level .
