After the bite of 83 that’s how golden Freddy lost its spring locks, I think. Golden Freddy is known to be possessed by two souls, Cassidy and Chris/Evan. Here is my theory of why fredbear looks different to golden freddy (Assuming that nightmare fredbear has relatively the same body shape to fredbear) William converted the suit into a normal animatronic suit, but he had to remodel the suit to better fit the endo, and the reason golden freddy us always limp and sitting down is that he doesn't have any endo skeleton and we see that in fnaf 1 with the spare endo back stage.

Suddenly, probably through the mental influence of the ghost children, the springlocks closed, shredding William to pieces. He possesed the springbonnie suit and became what we call Springtrap.

What i think is that Golden Freddy from FNAF1 is as scrapped model because he looked so much alike to the brown one but it only make sense because the fnaf2 Golden freddy was remade into the FNAF1 version which means cassidy is still in there im delulu
