Golden-Hour Walk along River to Small Town | Kameoka, Japan 4k Riverside Sunset Ambience

Kameoka is a small town along the Oi River which flows through Arashiyama and Kyoto not far downriver. The area around the river is a mix of dry grassy marshland and farmland. We start on the riverside and cross the Hozu Kobashi Bridge, a narrow bridge barely wider than a car and without rails for greater flood resistance. Across the bridge we walk through grassy marshland, with nice bird, insect, frog, and water sounds. The path along the river goes under the train tracks by Torokko Kameoka Station, which we cross under before walking through a quiet suburban neighborhood and past JR Umahori Station. The soft evening light casts a warm glow on the rural landscape. It's beautiful and tranquil. As it gets dark, streets lamps, stores', buildings', vehicles' and vending machines' lights shine brightly in the business part of town.

Ambient Exploration: Another excellent outing! Loved the beautiful pre-sunset skyline to the dusky lavendar/blue hues of the early evening sky. Simply wonderful camera work, your pans over the short bridge over the stream was superb timing! Good editing, as well, varied scenery with country blended with village and quaint roadways. Many thanks for sharing, you are spoiling me during my treadmill walks. Tried another channel, but came back to you today! Thank you! This really was a nice spot, very peaceful with just enough of a little town there for the essentials. There's also a campsite next to the bridge and I'm thinking of going back in the summer and see if the fields are planted and explore the town a bit more. We'll see, there are a lot of places to explore. You're on quite the treadmill streak, keep up the good work!

The riverside was so calm and peaceful, I plan to go back and see what they plant in the fields as well as take more of a look at those neighborhoods before it gets too dark.
