Man, Mark Stone was really lucky that his spleen decided to lacerate with exactly the amount of recovery time necessary to make it back onto the regular roster for the first playoff game. The Vegas Injury Reserves have got to be the luckiest team in the league for this sort of thing to keep happening multiple years in a row!

The owners of all the teams will not vote this out as they all want to use it when they get the chance they could get rid of this rule which I agree is unfair but they won’t as they will use it when they have a loaded team and are one player away from creating a Stanley cup wining team they all want this

The nhl should start investigating players going on to ltir. It’s sad that it’s come to this, but I mean come on. He got a lacerated spleen right at the trade deadline letting his team pick up a bunch of guys, then was suddenly fully healthy for game 1 of the playoffs.

LMAO, remember the 31-1 owner vote last offseason to keep the current LTIR system. 31 teams agreed to it, any team can do what Vegas is doing. Tampa did it before them, so did Colorado. This isn’t cheating, it’s sleazy and crumby, but it’s legal and yall can cry about it while Vegas tries to go back-to-back 😂

Stone getting paid millions to sit at home (likely not even injured) just to be activated and cheat in the playoffs, must be nice eh?!.. and it's not just him, their roster is stacked thanks to cap circumvention. Oh and lets not forget that it's been done two years in a row by them and Tampa before that. Both went on to win cups due to this. If they win the cup and no change is made regarding cap circumvention next year. I may be done watching the NHL, there's no point if teams continue to cheat..
