Gosh how fortunate you were to capture this... they're such timid birds. I hear them from May to September here in SW France but rarely catch a glimpse of one...this is a real treat, thanks for posting.

No, it's a female. The young male looks like the female in more yellow and becomes more and more yellow with age.

I have a beach/orchard villa and they hang out in my big porch. I have lots of videos of a couple Oreole and Kingfishers knocking on my window pane as my morning alarm at 7:30 😁

Did they have their nest inside your house? What is the reason they were so bold and allowed you to get so close?
@alkasinghsbirds4 жыл бұрын
They are nesting near my house and searching food. They are enjoying mirror image on window.

@@alkasinghsbirds Oh, I see! Amazing videos. Your other videos are beautiful, too. You seem to be a bird lover and bird watcher. I am, too. I wanted a good recording of the Oriole's sweet voice and found your great videos. Thank you! :)

I had 4 of them on a tree yesterday morning right in front of my window. Amazing! In the middle of Mumbai.

@@irenedhakde4692 That is amazing and sad at the same time, because they characteristically stay away from humans. They are not like sparrows, crows or pigeons. We can see them in the middle of the city now because of their shrinking habitat. They have nowhere to go. :'(
