This week on For The Love of Dogs, Paul O' Grady is helping a lovely old golden retriever put a spring in her step after losing her home in a fire. Paul also is meeting a tiny chihuahua with a major attitude problem.
Comedian Paul O'Grady follows the work of Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, meeting some of the dogs there and the people who look after them.

The smiles I get from from watching Paul are worth watching the sadness I feel watching the homeless animals, I think 🤔. I love how each dog is treated as an individual with certain needs.

It is heartbreaking to watch her leave Bobby. He doesn't understand and has to be terrified. How they can give up their 15 year old Yorkie. That is just cruel. My Dexter is 12 and I could never give him up. Our Mona was supposedly aggressive, she just needed to be socialized.

some people are just wrong for certain dogs, this is a common issue with tiny breeds where newer owners give too much lenience on bad behaviors because the pooch stays looking so puppy-like for the longest time

It is sad that when people buy dogs they don't do any studying and learning about what dogs really are and how they should be raised. Lol. Sometimes I think parents are the same 😃

“I love him so much” and claiming she cant do anything but abandon and possibly leave her dog to euthenasia makes me so angry 😡 of course you can do something, you can retrain him for goodness sake 😡 seeing Bobby look at the person most important to him in the whole world walk away was horrible

Owner created aggressive dog then put him to sleep……‘I can’t do anything for him….!’!!!! How irresponsibly UNFAIR to the dog!???! 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 Owner should take FULL responsibility and FIX the shit!☠️

This poor chihuahua I always think that us as a owners we have the fault he is very confused and it's the lady fault she raised him to be an alfa and she put this on him. I have 1 right know but this baby it's my 3rd chihuahua and they all are soo sweet cause i put boundaries so they understand that I am the human alfa and they always now I loved them dearly

Why don't you get ahold of, The Dog Daddy?, on TicToc? He is very successful at this very problem. He does it by being the leader of the pak, a leash and a certain way he talks to them. In no time @ all. Dont kill the dog without trying,"The Dog Daddy" first. Ok? He lives in the UK, or Australia. But will travel anywhere he is called. At least watch some of his videos. He does indeed! Even loves the hateful people that somehow find this offensive. It’s the perfect place for it. In case we have sub snobs that think it isn’t. One small request Marie. Find other Bible passages to post. There’s lots of ones regarding animals. God loves animals more than He loves humans. A lot of humans love animals more than they love people. As for repentance, that’s a personal matter. No need for you to hand down that indictment on folks. Ok? I know that you mean well. However, don’t make it sound soapbox-y. @@hoosierbaddy3052 God loves people more than animals. No offense. God sent His one and only son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for people because we have souls and animals don't. When people die they either go to Heaven or Hell. When animals die they don't go anywhere. God wants everyone to make it to Heaven. But so many people reject Jesus Christ. It's so sad!
