American Golden retriever and English Golden Retriever are very different. It is not only color. Size and shape too. American ones are almost golden but recent English ones are almost white cream. You don't like white cream retrievers ?

Thanks for the update Joel. My personal preference are the "goldies". I also like the red ones as well. The cream doesn't cut it for me. "Eye of the beholder" I reckon. At least the English are merely augmented the color and size (so far). What American's did the German Shepard's hind quarters is animal cruelty. I also noticed the English are making labs more squatty as well......doesn't look very athletic to me. After all, retrievers are suppose to be sporting dogs, not Corgii's. Cheers.

I see. I understood your opinions. I think there are many people who have same opinions like you. But there are many people too who like cream retrievers in the world. It was made by English. Where are you from ?

NorCal Native Golden Is England breed :) crufts is England show :) goldens in south/north america is mix golden and collie. Not pure breed.
