Nala's journey to befriend our neighbor's cat wasn't smooth, but just look at them now! It began with a bit of hissing and barking, but gradually they warmed up to each other, embracing the idea of spending time together and enjoying each other's company. Wow, that is one confident, affectionate, friendly cat! I think that people should understand that things like this start way before the introduction. Dogs need core training to build the relationship with their humans so when it comes to times like these, you can correct any bad behavior.

The cat is still very relaxed in comparison. Others would've hidden somewhere very difficult to reach, she was actually more accessible. She exposes her belly (a huge sign of trust), tried to knead Nala, and if there is fighting it's more playfighting, so all good.

I know! Can you just imagine that a couple days before that, Nala chased the poor cat up a tree, the kitty was hissing at her and now they can calmly sit together in the same couch! 😅
