They have flat noses to keep them from getting frost bite and they survive below freezing temp only by huddling together like penguins have to do in Antartica. 😊

I got to see some in person once at the zoo in like 88 or 89 on a school field trip. Oddly enough until recently I didn’t see much of them since then. Now they’re all over the internet.

They are so beautiful! Remember watching a documentary about them. Oscar was a baby but lost his mother. Surely thought he would perish, but survived! It was such a happy ending! ♥️ Thank you to the person who shared this! ♥️♥️

Imo, all monkeys are cute! 🐒 One of my bucket list items is to hold a monkey. One of my fav is the Capuchin. Three Nuggets of Knowledge: 1. The Capuchin is mostly used for the mentality challenged because they have the least amount of smell to humans. 2. Monkeys have tails. Apes do not. 3. Orangutans are mostly left-handed.

Nah, I watched a bunch of videos about them on Chinese social media and these goldens are really tame and gentle. They will even let people (strangers) touching them without reacting.

There's a video of this monkey eating tangerines look it up. That video specifically was were I first saw this species and it shows how peculiar they are. The way they raise their arms to ask for stuff.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe Snub nosed monkeys are also the only monkey’s capable of truly living bipedal like a human does (yes they mostly go quad but I believe they are also adapted to stay on their back legs if they have to)
