To watch the liars and cheaters take the throne? pffft She is certainly the ugliest (inside and out) of all the Queens. Jewels and robes don't make the person or the queen. How they treat people they took vows with certainly do. The most hated and disrespected duo in all the land. Just don't fool yourselves into thinking the world stage has forgotten about who they really are.

'Slimmed Down' only because of Health and Safety Rules limiting the guest numbers in the Abbey to 2,000 where it used to be 8,000 and the procession route being shorter (probably for security reasons). It will still be majestic . . . and I can hardly wait!

I think it's hard to appreciate the beauty and hype for the Coronation parade until you hear these separate bands in every contingency playing the same marches in unison. The music will never stop as long as you see the parade moving. That's one feat in and of itself.

Standing on the long walk (security officer) for the funeral procession sent a chill up my spine, the pipers at that time of morning just before dawn was amazing

There are no words to describe or express what I just watched in my phone. I have no TV but I surely wish I had one, I would watch this over and over again and again. It is amazing to be able to have everything so precise. Such Hunan and Animal cooperation. It presents an amazing Spectacular sight. Hats if to the people who put this together, the British hold too Cards for Presenting Histirical Events. Blessings and Thanks in all who made and are making this such a Wonderful Occasion.

They are basically practicing the Parade before coming Coronation ♡ Big historical event, though! I never seen/been alive to see/witness the Coronation of King or Queen in any country! This is mesmerising for me♡ In my life time I' ve witnessed the drama & burial of Kings & Queens, but never a traditional Coronation ♡

Ich kann nicht sagen warum es mich ( und viele anderen Menschen) derart anspricht, aber es tut es. Die Perfektion und Exaktheit die dort zu Tage kommt ist bewundernswert. Jeder der dort ivolviert ist, kann wirklich stolz darauf sein, den jeder trägt seinen Teil bei zum Gelingen. Da wird ein Wunderbares Fest werden für alle, diejenigen die dabei sind , dielenigen die vorort zusehen können und diejenigen die zuhause vor dem Fernsehen sitzen und sich für ein paar Stunden von täglichen Leben ausklinken. What an honour to see this parade rehearsal. The soldiers are so disciplined. I particularly admire the guardsman standing to attention throughout the entire parade. Me too, I'm an night owl anyway, going to make some scones, shortbread and Empire biscuits. Tea of course, plenty of it. Wish I had another Brit to watch it with, don't know any in my part of California and my friends have all gone on to greener pastures. My brother took part in the last one, he was in the Royal Navy, stood guard under Admiralty Bridge. I have a picture of him just after the Golden Carriage passed by with the Queen in it on her way to be crowned.
