Look at the paint and how infrequently there is any defender at all there. Compare that to teams running "traditional" lineups. This is the power of spacing. Turns any ok ballhandler into a bigger threat, turned GSW into #1 offense. And now add KD.

Some of this is bad defense and miscommunication, but most of the success is due to Steph Curry. You can't allow him to come off the screen and get an open three. You hedge/trap and Dray kills you on the short roll. You switch and GSW takes note and starts slipping screens. Then if you end up navigating the screens well they can take you off the dribble and the big can't help or else Draymond/Iguodala get an open three. It's an impossible proposition. Especially since Dray/Klay improved their slashing ability. Only thing I can think of is to have guards that can track Curry/Klay on screens and have a mobile big that can stay with Draymond. However, then you got Durant who can destroy you one-on-one or screen for Steph. Best solution is to switch and have guys like Lebron James who can come off the weak side to protect the rim or recover back to the shooter. Basically it's an impossible puzzle. Only team with the personnel to try everything is the Jazz. Let's see what Quin Snyder comes up with.
