The thing that impressed me was how many steals the Warriors had, 14 steals was something that 2021-22 teams was doing and something last years team wasn’t. To me steals means a lot because it shows that grittiness that great defensive teams have and defense leads to offense and nothing generates that better and more than a steal.

The 41 points is great, the way he did it is just silly. 14-19, 7-10 on 3s and just 6 free throws. When Curry is on, there is not another player in the league that can score like he does without using the free throw line, it's insane.

Trust me it won't last throughout the season, not being a downer but the team is thin. Curry is their only real offensive option, what happens when he goes down? What happens when cp3 goes down as well? For them to win Kerr has to play curry, klay and cp3 heavy mins which is not sustainable at their age. Without those 3 the offense is dead in the waters, I'm afraid this team can't make a solid post season run.

Ntm they got next to help from the young players last year. If Kuminga and Moody can continue to play at a good level to complement the vets this team will definitely be much better than last year

They're a lot longer and more athletic than last year. Subtle moves to improve the front court. Moody and Kuminga are going to be more consistent and take the next step in their game. Both very well rounded lanky wings. Sometimes the way Moody moves reminds me vet Iggy. I still believe Kuminga can be a borderline All Star.

CP3 is playing his role well. People will look and see he had only 10 points on 5/12 but he had 12 assists and controlled the pace. He’s still lethal from midrange too. Moody and Kuminga look so good as well

In 21/22 when the warriors won they always pushed away in the 3rd quarter - something i missed last season, where they had the fight themselves back in the game in the 3rd. Nice to see that returning. Well played by the second unit also, moody looks very good out there. Also i feel like kuminga continues to show flashes of superstar potential. Imo he has the physical tools and the skillset to be a star player, he just needs the confidence and he needs to find his rhythm. If he plays more agressive i can see him being like a baby blake Griffin or smth

This is definitely a game the Warriors lose last year. While they still had some bad turnovers in the fourth, they still found a way to execute just enough to hold off Sac and Fox. Gotta have a lot of optimism as a Warriors fan

In the Warriors first 2 games you can already see the difference and improvement from last year, defense, control of tempo and minimal turnovers. I wasn't sold on the CP3 trade at first but after watching them play vs quality teams like PHO and SAC i would definitely say he was an upgrade from Jp.
