@Nate the Great It definitely changes throughout the show, cause at one point Dwight was top salesman in the company for “13 out of the last 12 months”, but you also have this example for Jim and in a later episode (not sure exactly which one, but it was after Sabre takes over), there’s a white board in the conference room with the list of all the salesmen’s sales, and Jim is on top with more than Dwight

@@danielnewton1892 Eh I know what you mean and know the scene you're referring to, but I pretty much always consider those instances as mistakes/oversights by writers and the prop team, because there is so much evidence for Dwight being by far the best salesmen, and I don't really see a reason to believe that it would fluctuate that much. All shows have inconsistencies, and Dwight going from the best salesmen in all of Dunder Mifflin (the whole company, not just Scranton), to a relatively low number like the white board in the conference room shows, just doesn't make a lot of sense. I can easily see some hired prop hand writing down random numbers on the board, and assuming Jim has the highest because he is the most likable character. (Reminder: when Dwight got the top salesmen award in The Speech they mention Jim was somewhere around tenth, I don't see how Jim could've bridged that gap, even over a couple seasons. There is nothing to indicate that Dwight had a bad sales period between those times either, if anything it demonstrates him getting more and more successful as the series goes on). Sorry for the overly long comment.

Not really. Like oscar said, 10 percent is a lot especially towards a big client, and it doesnt necessarily get you anything out of it, except for kindness which isnt exactly a successful business plan

Only if it's advertised before you give away the tickets so people might purchase more paper in the hope of getting a ticket. If you just stick 10% discounts into random shipments then you're just giving 10% off (to either big or small clients) and not getting anything in return.

Stanley was allowed to yell at Michael in a vicious, violent manner in front of everyone which even the human resources rep Toby found unacceptable causing Toby to have a special meeting with Michael encouraging Michael to take action against Stanley, but Michael was too afraid to.

I always thought that, when Michael asks Darryl what is a pallet, it's because he doesn't trust him and thinks that Darryl doesn't even know what a pallet is, even though he knows his job way better than Michael, and this makes the whole scene way more funnier for me, and only now did I find out that Michael just simply doesn't know what a pallet is, which is really sad

I like to think that Michael never had any jurisdiction over the warehouse at all, he doesnt have a license to operate any of their machines, he didnt listen to any safety lectures either. Its surprising that he was allowed to go down there at all, much less mess with the equipment.

This scene tells a lot of Dwights character . He clearly states later in the episode he’s never related to the movie since he didn’t grow up eating candy but he’s the only one happy and smiling while everyone is clearly annoyed . Always kissing up to Michael no matter of the situation lol
