Golden Visa is an excellent initiative from the UAE government which provide a huge window of opportunity to expats around the world to take benefit from Dubai and wider UAE. In this video I have explained in detail on how golden visa can benefit, but more so what it will not offer.

After uploading the video, I realized the rule have been changed for eligibility for salaried individual for Golden Visa. The new rule says that basic salary should be 30K AED instead of gross which increases the benchmark hugely.

Also there is mandatory requirement now of equivalency certificate against your degree from Ministry of Education. This may take a few weeks to complete the equivalency application process.

Might be the video is recorded earlier and posted now. Before salary should be 30k regardless of basic salary now the basic salary should be 30k.

Other advantage of having a Golden Visa is how easy it is to get a driving license in UAE. Golden Visa holders have directly attempt the final RTA test once the theory test is done. Even if you fail the final RTA road test, You can reattempt the test after taking a 4 hr (mandatory) driving class. This mean, You can skip the parking, yard tests.

My question is what most feasible options do you suggest for cover their health aspects here in UAE during Golden Visa stay specially after 70+ years age?

One more thing. Property investment GV takes into consideration the "property value" as it would have increased by the time you get a valuation from DLD. So its not your investment value.

Hello 👋🏻,can you explain me this.. submission of a letter from Federal Tax Authority stating that the investor pays the government no less than AED 250,000 (two hundred and fifty thousand) annually. Does one have to pay 250k dirhams every year/annually till your golden visa expires despite giving 2m upfront for golden visa? And what happens to the property you have invested in with 2m after your golden visa expires? You again have to buy another 2m worth of property?

Amer center is not offering services for Golden Visa property investors, Property value should not be less than 2 Million even if it is a off plan property and and you have paid a very minimum amount as a down payment then you are still eligible for Golden Visa

For property - you need to get certificate from DLD for all the properties as compiled document (I’m not sure of the value of offplan paid up value however)

Recently, the minimum salary req. has been changed. Now, basic 30000 is required without allowance. Earlier, 30000 included basic and allowances. This makes the population very small. Please elaborate.

BTW for 30k salary, they require 30k basic salary, usually the salary is broken down in allowances and that's not accepted you have to have basic 30k.

Is there any restriction regarding maximum duration of stay outside of UAE for the golden visa holder. 2.)You mentioned that your mother is also staying with you on golden visa. For parents above 60, what would be the cost of medical insurance. Is there any discount for the golden visa holder above 60....Thanks.....

1 - No restrictions. 2 - Insurance is a tricky subject. Will try to cover in future. But 60+ would have expensive insurance for sure with many exclusions.

Is a social media influencer applying for a golden visa does not have to pay 2 million dirhams and only needs to pay the visa fee?

Yes, for social media influencer, if you are able to get the GV approval, you only have to pay for the fee associated with GV and not the 2M AED requirement.

I think they have to get an evaluation certificate from DLD to assess the current price and based on that they can get the golden visa.
