This was a better remake than the Goldeneye Reloaded remake we ended up actually getting.

I haven’t played Goldeneye in many years, but thanks to the rose tinted glasses of nostalgia, this is pretty much exactly what it looks like in my mind’s eye.

This is amazing! I am so impressed with accuracy and care and remaking absolutely every aspect of the missions. I spent countless hours playing this game and at every turn the scenario is as I remembered it. 37:42 That punch in Nathalya is something every GoldenEye enthusiast always wanted to do. The modern weapons have the proper sounds and handle so well, and the addition of melee attacks makes it even greater.

Incredibly beautiful work. If there were full on cutscenes together with this, it would be one really good 007 gaming experience.

The random things the guards say in this game is hilarious 😆

I remember making a level in Far Cry 3 where it was 4 buildings together and was supposed to be like the rooftops map from Uncharted 3, it took me probably 8 hours to make and wasn't even that good overall. This must have taken forever.

As an 11yr old back in like 97' this is how I thought the game looked cuz the N64 had 64 bits and people went ape shit about that! So I'm glad a fan went out of their way to do this. Hey! Happy to see a furry playing this! Nice! :D Back then, I really didn't know what was so special about Goldeneye. Before the re-release, it was unplayable for me because I didn't own an N64, so I emulated it snd it didn't feel good to play. I did remember seeing the Reimagined version pf Goldeneye on the Wii and actually really enjoyed it, but st the time, many were displeased by the Reimagined version, saying it was a bastardization of the original; for only having the first two levels from the 64, that it played too similar to COD, and the biggest one, Pierce Brosnan replaced for Daniel Craig. So it took many years later to come across an N64 controller I found st my local game store. The shop owner let me have it because he didn't know if it works anymore, so I emulated Goldeneye again to see if there was any difference into play with the original controller instead of a modern one, and the difference was night and day. I was finally having fun playing the game. I didn't get very far but I was happy to play it eith a controller that works well with it. Nowadays, with the game being rereleased to the Series X and Switch, I had enjoyed playing both on those systems, especially on Xbox. But without online multiplayer, it was a big miss and well, prevented me from playing the game more. So now, seeing someone built the whole campaign into Far Cry 5, it's pretty impressive. I never knew you can do something like that in this game. I finally understand the appeal of Goldeneye and I'm to say that I had gone from not caring about it to fully enjoying it a lot!
