9/10 Holy shit this surprised me POSITIVES: +The setup to the play was once again well made +Cody was great throughout the entire video. Not only do I appreciate him actually having a lead role this time around, but his acting in the play was absolutely hilarious +I really enjoyed the turn this video took when Junior, Joseph and Penelope ended up turning the play into an unscripted drama +Jeffy appearing as Winnie the Pooh was pretty funny NEGATIVES: -The kazoo solo outro was a bit too long -I honestly wish we had a few more scenes in the audience Overall, this is easily the best school play video we've gotten so far…

We should’ve gotten a Little Red Riding Hood video. Jeffy is the wolf again but Cody is his understudy, and throughout the video Cody tries to sabotage Jeffy’s performance or something related to hopefully get the part.

I really enjoyed this one it gave me Juniors playtime vibes & it was funnier then the other 2 play themed videos, but i respect your opinion. I just don't see how you dont enjoy it cause it's not filler & Junior & Penelope were great in this video same with Cody, also the scene where Jackie Chu was checking the script was funny

Dude why is this filler to you? SML isn’t anything story driven it’s mostly episodic I mean sure there was the stuff with Nancy but she only appeared once for the past few years and this year and she’s dead now. Like do you really think this has the right to be called filler?

@@jadetheartist873 but why? SML is a comedy channel. It focuses on comedy not storytelling. There is nothing to tell a complex story about from SML Nancy is dead there couldn’t be anything they could make into a story arc. Just because SMG4 has story arcs doesn’t mean that SML needs to have any too.

It wasn't that bad, thus was actually enjoyable, the set was good and jokes were funny and Junior and the others aren't going through their roles while arguing as always wasn't in this, and it wasn't repetitive like the other 2 I give this a 8/10. Finally we have an SML video that's a but decent than the other videos. Junior's Sprite Problem and Cody's Bad Word and the rest of the videos were a filler mess.

I understand the lack of upload I have a bunch of testing now because I had a week off of school, but winter break (in the USA) is 2 weeks away and I have 3 weeks off so ig testing pays off lol. Anyway, the vid is 5/10 the ending was a little too long for me and the scenes were limited, SML is slowly degrading...

sml idea the play like the phantom of the opera where they create a play but Cody or junior is offing the male lead since he was given an until he becomes the phantom by killing everyone and just takes on all the leads but if jr was the killer killing every male lead so he could be the phantom to kiss Penelope but gets killed at the end before the kiss

It was enjoyable to me. 10/10 Cody was funny during the chair and bed parts. Like who put the uh tube thing on that chair and bed? Also when Jr and Penelope started to fight like it was the playtime series. Jeffy only showed up in the end but maybe he let himself in as Winnie the Poo (maybe the others planned to go off script and fight)

Honestly, this is a video was pretty disappointing for Cody finally being the main lead. I’m glad that the play took up the majority of the video, but I would have liked a few scenes of them preparing their lines. Cody’s performance was alright I guess, but he brings the biggest problem in the video. THE DAMN SONGS. Seriously, there are WAY TOO many songs and thanks to Cody’s voice, they don’t sound good. Not even the music can save it which is is just generic happy music which isn’t really appealing. However, the best part of this video is when Junior and Penelope where arguing and everyone’s shocked expression just sealed the deal. Even that doesn’t save the video too much, and I felt like they could have done better. 5/10.

@@thatguycman235 Please just don’t dismiss my review like that. Also, you didn’t fully get my point there. It’s not that the songs are just bad, but also, there was just TOO MANY OF THEM. Also, I mentioned the fact that the story didn’t build up all nicely. In addition, I feel like the kazoo ending wasn’t really rewarding. It was in the first two vids because Cody got an insignificant role, but here, he’s the lead, so there’s no good reason to have it. Yes, it does connect it to the previous ones, but there are better ways to do that. Heck, the fact that it is a play is already connecting enough. You don’t really need the kazoo thing again, which felt longer, and took up the last minute, where we could have something funnier (like Jackie Chu raging or something like that).

i liked it at first but when penelope used the t slur i totally switched off. Like i’m a trans guy (ftm) who loves trans jokes as long as they’re funny. but penelope outright calling cody a ‘tranny’ was just not it. like if white ppl can’t say the n word, then non trans ppl shouldn’t say trans slurs either. and yeh it was ‘for the video’ but it doesn’t matter. the joke still ran through

I agree. This video really didn’t hit for me and this was the first time I didn’t really enjoy Cody as much as I do besides him sitting on the stick in the bed and chair was funny but other than that he just got annoying and the Junior and Penelope action got me laughingggg hard and also when Jeffy appeared at the end. I found that such a great twist and found it funny. I completely agree with you on this one and in my opinion probably one of the worst school play videos by far. I’d give this a 6/10
