As someone who knows about Soren's past. There is no way Goldmary had a chance to try to sway him. He's been through plenty of stuff in his life, and the only one he trusts is Ike. He's never had that much time to invest in other things male/females do besides how to speak to ladies in a specific manner i.e. Aimee, because he's spent his life trying to survive and people treat him differently because he's branded, someone of beorc(human) and laguz blood that has been reviled since some mysterious rumor and whatnot became something for races to do. He's become a no-nonsense person who wants results and will give some criticism if it helps the company he is with. This is the same guy who turned down the offer of a laguz royal to stand beside him quick. Of course, it is mainly due to prejudice he faced with beorc and laguz people. Long story short, Goldmary face it, you ain't getting through to Soren at all. You don't get to whine about it when he went through much worse, praise to Ike for showing him compassion.

Goldmary, soren, camila, ike, hortensia, timera and so on have some great bond supports just because the others don’t know what to do with them
