No actor can be born in History of Hindi Cinema like Balraj Sahini Ji .He did not learnnacting from Pune or FTII but im.pretty sure they show his acting scens as a reference to learning actors .

Reminded me of the days when this movie was released in theatres in our city. A beautiful movie with a bold topic..especially for that era. Started watching it for Biswajeet, though his role is not so big. Loved Balraj Sahni and Nirupa Roy's performance. Some people are saying that Shobha shouldn't have loved Amar as the daughter of the family which gave her shelter was in love with Amar..but was she ? She never cared for him. She along with her family were trying to trap him in relationship just because he was rich and handsome. She writes letters to herself in his name, he never cared for her ! Wasn't he entitled to his own choice ? His parents too liked Shobha and didn't want him to marry Rupa..maybe because they rightly judged her and her family's character. Overall a very good movie. Must watch for old movie lovers.

Very good movie with bisawjeet and mala Sinha looks great together again, in this old classic movie along with Balraj Sahni Nirupa Rai David Abraham and Ameeta ofcourse. Last half an hour of the movie was with suspense and thrill and the acting of all the actors are very good but Ameeta look gorgeous awesome in a negative role, she was the most underrated actress of her era.
